After anyone has visited several, or even only one, of the crowded Greek isle whitewashed alleyways, most of the doodads to buy all start to look cheap and the same. That is because they are!
Always on the lookout for artists trying to do something different, and stay in a reasonable price range, what a wonderful surprise to come upon Hera's in the maze of alley shopping in the old port at Naoussa on Paros. Their storefront shouts out immediately as they have the most wonderful, fresh, modern take on evil eye goods you will see in the Cyclades. They also have more expensive, beautifully made jewelry, and some marble carvings.
The world-famous Paros white marble is still in evidence a tiny bit if you search for it.
Buy a keychain, or wall mounting of their fun interpretation of the evil-eye symbol - bright pink or turquoise will be sure to ward off the bad vibes and help you remember Greece in the best possible way.

Herea's Gallery Shop showcases excellent examples of modern Greek design, with exquisite craftmanship. I love the simple lines of her products and have shopped here in both 2014 and 2015. Worth a visit!

We stumbled upon the shop after lunch and couldn’t leave until we ultimately made multiple purchases. Kostos was amazing, with the patience of a Greek god while we tried to decide which pieces and how many to buy. Professional yet local hospitality. The scarves are equally luxurious. Hera’s is different than other stores-if you’re looking for something of value, this is the place to go

Lovely store in the heart of the old town with beautiful jewellery, and an ecclectic chic mix of great gifts. Love the colorful Turkish towels and especially the photos done by the owner of the store - Hera. Great for gifts!
