If you are in Paros you have to visit Naoussa. It’s a charming village with beautiful winding streets with great restaurants and shopping. A great vibe in the evening at sunset when everyone comes out to eat, drink and chill. Not to be missed.

Paros is our favorite island and Naoussa is the best area to stay. However this year, it started to get more and more crowded. Stay away from the restaurants by the port and all along the seaside. They are overly priced and just to be seen places such as Barbarossa. For the best food, go to Palia Agora in Naoussa (mid price range) or SIPAROS or ENJOY restaurants (higher price range) instead. For best ice cream, go to DENNIS. For the bakery, go to Ragoussis.

For those looking for a traditional Greek Town, the town of Naousa although beautiful is extremely overpriced.
You need to search out the traditional restaurants amongst the glittering overpriced white washed walls now infiltrating from Mykonos.
I would consider the capital Parakia which is equally as beautiful and has managed to retain some authenticity and is half the price for food and drink.

This is such a pretty place! It's an old fishing village that has grown into a busy tourist resort but still retains it's original charm.
Very nice place to while away several hours wandering the maze of back streets which are full of interesting shops, bars and cafes. The waterfront is also a lovely place to walk along and there are small boats that carry tourists to nearby beaches.
In the evening when everywhere is lit up Naoussa looks fantastic and there are plenty of restaurants with waterside dining for a special experience.
A "must see" place to visit on Paros.

Naoussa Paros is beautiful. There are many restaurants, bars and shops. There are countless terraces, very pretty and fun. There are so many things to do in Naoussa I recommend a minimum of four nights in Paros. I loved walking around in their mazed streets with beautifully decorated restaurants, white-coloured houses, and cobblestone streets. When coming to Greece, Paros is a must.

Sadly the place has become too popular, even in early june. Large numbers of USA and oz competing with the usual uk, french for the best views, tables etc. We wont be going back

We were staying 5mins drive outside of Naoussa so visited both in the day & evening. It has a lovely little harbour lined with restaurants. Make sure you venture around the coast into the back straights as you’ll find the more picturesque traditional Cyclade buildings, rather than the more modern main square.

Worth a visit day or evening. Lots of lovely restaurants; typically Greek tavernas rub shoulders with more sophisticated options. Ditto the bars (we enjoyed several local wines and some excellent apple Martinis!). A good choice of shops, mainly clothing and jewellery, but some home stores too.
During the day, small boats set sail for local beaches.
A central square is a focal point for meeting and people-watching. We've visited eight different Greek islands to date and Paros is the only island we've returned to, it captured us

This is a busy harbor filled with working fishing boats, pleasure boats and excursion craft. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops.

A labyrinth of narrow streets lead away from the harbor offering lots to explore.

Paros has two main seaside towns - Naoussa and Parikia.
Being on Paros for the first time I did not know the difference, so we chose Parikia as the main town and ferry harbor which was convenient for us.
We had a car so we spent one afternoon and evening in Naoussa which I found more beautiful with its charming whitewashed streets and houses and an abundance of restaurants.
Next time I will opt for Naoussa for my Paros vacation.
