I attended the free morning meditation and yoga practice and thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the center!
I email them in advanced to inquire and they warmly welcomed me to their sessions, no need to register in advance. I was initially only planning to attend the meditation and could not make it to the yoga since I need to drop my rental car off that morning but they called the car rental company on my behalf and asked for an extension so I could attend the yoga session- I greatly appreciated this and was so glad I could participate in the lessons. I only wish I could have stayed longer and attended more!
I highly recommend making time to visit Tao’s while in Paros- they are most welcoming and so kind!

Sometime when you come to a place that is designed to facilitate as a retreat you find that it actually is a great advancement in your life. Coming into this unique center was a great opportunity not only to connect with nature and with great smiling people but first and foremost to connect with oneself. The day started with an amazing meditation with incredible flute playing. then i moved into a Pilates class right after only to find myself with a group of young ladies stretching themselves to the limit. This follow suit with a circle of participants led by a guru like Lady , orly ,who took us into the investigation of the true nature of love and the obstacles we create in our life from seeing what is already there. And then it was time for a body treatment. An incredible hard touch into the core of the muscle followed by an incredible shower and then a refreshing fantastic meal in this fusion somewhat Thai somewhat an eastern restaurant.
As you sit outside and you look at the beautiful beaches surrounding this beautiful location you get grounded into yourself.
The evening is the time for dance music and incredible connection with people who find this place to be a center for love and harmony on the island
And here's the incredible good news about this place, it's not expensive. It is a journey into yourself with other like-minded individuals come here to spend time unwind from the pressure of life and send themselves into this unique center of spirit.
The total dedication of the owners there with presence are at every moment seeing each guest ,ensuring that they're having an amazing time.
In summary if you have some free time come

I was part of the Long Stay Program in september 2016, just after the peak of the tourist season was over. I loved working as part of the very international Long Stay Program group, consisting of people from all over Europe and the States. We did meditation, yoga, Pilates, movement workshops and personal prosesses together, hung out at the beaches, at dinner and at parties. We had a heart opening and fun time together. Paros is a beutiful Island with a lot to offer, and Taos Center is like a meeting place for both tourists as well as an extended community of foreigners having houses or work at Paros. I can recommned the Long Stay Program to people of all ages and sexes. Mariel Kvaale age 58.

I had been going to Taos restaurant for many years and it was one of my favorite place in Paros! Not any more…The cuisine has nothing to do with the one before COVID!!!! I m sure that the chef and the cook is NOT the same as before! Unfortunately the prices are extremely high and the quality of the food doesn’t respond at all to these prices at all. Too pity that I felt that one of my favorite places on the island is experiencing such a declining phase…I hope that in the future it might find its way up again…

Nothing I can say about any of the courses held at this place. All I can say is that they should not advertise themselves as a Thai restaurant. Have been to eat there once and apart from flies crawling all over the table and swimming in your wine glass the food was good.
However twice in the last two weeks I have visited and despite the ads saying they are open all day and having driven over unmade roads and through smelly farms to get there the kitchen was closed. Tried a second time a few days later and at another time in the day and was totally ignored. Couldn't make out who worked there to ask for a menu. People just milling around . Didn't know who to approach stood for ages in the door way hoping to attract attention but to no avail. After 20 minutes we left once again. Went to a good old Greek tavern and had wonderful service as always. Perhaps it would be best if Greek Islands only had Greek eating establishments ?

This is our second time at the restaurant of Tao's centre. Let me be clear about one thing. We were not impressed the first time but had to go back for a friend's nameday celebration.
The asian food is indifferent and a bit overpriced, but what can really take a toll on your mood is the service standards. The staff is not only unprofessional but incredibly rude. Reservation was messed up as they thought we were booked for another night. They had us waiting for several minutes before they can deal with us. Then they claimed all their garden tables were fully booked and that we had to sit at the veranda. (Please note that this appears to be common policy for them as it happened again last year) We insisted on a garden table because of the high temperature only to discover that the so called "fully booked" tables never filled. The food took over 50 minutes to arrive and even then 3 main dishes were at our disposal while the 4th member of our party was left to starve even longer. We ask for the bill which arrives with a receipt. We leave money and had to wait for the receipt and change for 15 minutes after asking 2 different waiters for them.
Seriously, it is bad and what makes it even worse is that both the manager and the staff are rude and indifferent to your needs. Ok, the view is great but why spend your money here? After all it was our fault. Serve me badly once shame on me, serve me badly twice it is my fault for coming back! Never again!

I found Tao's by joining the 5 day Yoga and Gaga Dance workshop. It was more than a place to take classes. As well as the weekly regular Yoga & Meditation Classes in beautiful spaces with breathtaking views, the restaurant serves smoothies and the best Thai food. Everyone so friendly - a chance to chat to a stranger, or sit quietly on a sofa and read a book. A home from home that made my holiday feel extra special. Will be finding my way back soon as …...
