I originally starting planning our 2 week vacation back in November 2018, and thanks to Covid, we were finally able to take it this year. Everything was top notch from the original planning and dealing with Eugene, Joanna, Alex and Maria. Thank you for your prompt responses to my emails, and for allowing us to postpone our trip, not once but twice. It was well worth the wait! We boarded the 'Big Deal' for a 2 week sail around the Cyclades. Captain Haris and his wife Vicki started off as our crew and ended our trip as good friends and to me, family! They are the most amazing couple! Haris is extremely knowledgeable and skilled as a skipper. He suggestions on islands to visit and on very windy days where to avoid. He found and booked us at some wonderful restaurants and tavernas. Found us Taxis and booked us rental cars in Santorini. He anticipated all of our needs on each island. Vicki is an amazing cook! I suggested she write down her recipes and create a small cookbook. Her food is simple but delicious! She had me try foods that at home I would not like, but the way she prepared them, WOW! Be prepared to go home few pounds heavier. The smaller islands were our favorites. Santorini was beautiful, but crowded and expensive. Because of the winds, we ended up having to spend an extra day there. The color of the water in Greece is amazing, and so crystal clear! I highly recommend Yacht Sailing! We will return one day! Hopefully sooner than later!…

We had an absolutely wonderful time sailing the Saronic Gulf with YaghtSailing.gr. Eugene made the process so easy from the start answering all our questions and helping make the week into an unforgettable experience. The quality of service this company provides is what made them really stand out, for example we had talked all week about wanting to try a certain type of food and the last night the team helped us order the food to our boat so we could picnic on the deck and watch the sunset which was the perfect way to cap off our trip. If you’re considering renting a boat in Greece, I would 100% recommend this company.…

A big thankyou and job well done to the team at YachtSailing.gr!!! This was our second trip with YachtSailing.gr and they did not disappoint. Our group of 4 just completed a 2 week adventure on Vegas with Captain George Platsakis. First, the hard working men and women of YachtSailing.gr are great. Pre-trip communications with Eugene, Joanna and Maria answered all our questions. From items we asked for on the boat, transportation needs and grocery shopping link (big time saver to order on line in advance and deliver to the boat). Thanks for being so patient with us. We met Captain Platsakis on board readying Vegas for our Greek Odyssey. After discussing safety protocols (by the way, George’s English is great), possible itineraries, weather forecasts and our expectations of George and his of us, the crew, we pushed off. We asked for sailing, we got it. We asked for anchoring and awesome moorage locations, we got it. We asked for great food experiences, cultural and historical sites like the Temple of Aphaia, Temple of Apollo, hiking opportunities, snorkeling sites, fun and humor and we got it! We met George as a stranger but left with a new friend. George anticipated our needs keeping safety in mind always looking forward to achieve our aggressive itinerary and boundless enthusiasm to take it to the limit…and…that’s what she said……

Wow! is the first word I think of when I look back at the last two weeks on board “the big deal” Cpt Harry, what a great seaman. He is knowledgeable and connected to the islands and it makes for a seamless trip. He loves the sea and you can see the joy on his face when he is sailing. We had a lot of laughs with him when he tells his stories. Harry’s first job will to always keep you safe and he will. Vicky, a beautiful soul. Her lovely smile and outgoing personality makes your trip relaxing. Now her cooking, that’s a thing to review… it was amazing! She had me eating things I would never have tried, and they were delicious. She works extremely hard everyday for her guests and Cpt Harry her husband. The trip, avoid Santorini the cost for food is ridiculous but the view was spectacular. Only spend a day there or skip it. There are many other islands that have just as beautiful of a view. The smaller islands are where you will get the most authentic experience. Poros, kithnos, Syros, Paros, Naxos, Poliegos are amazing little islands My hubby and I jumped off the 13 meter cliff at sarakiniko. I’m 52 he’s 57 scratch one off the bucket list.
