The first pleasant surprise were the immediate replies by Eugene to my questions when we talked about the modalities like skipper, schedule and COVID-19. Based on the extremely positive impression, we decided to book two weeks on the Lagoon 440 “Casino”. Getting closer to our vacation, and based on Ioanna’s recommendations, we booked most provisions beforehand. At Alimos harbor, we were warmly welcomed by the YachtSailing team and we met our skipper Thassos Kolokythas. We found the “Casino” perfectly cleaned and provisioned (as requested) at our arrival. The Lagoon 440 was extremely comfortable for two couples with 5 people plus skipper, and it had everything on it from snorkeling gear to two fridges and an oven in which we baked fresh buns for the breakfast. Based on Thassos’ recommendation we initially set off towards the Peloponnese, after which we crossed over to the Cyclades. Thassos immediately inspired confidence in us as very safety-minded captain who turned out to be intimately familiar with finding beautiful locations and knowing all the spots to avoid. He was extremely accommodating to our wishes, and easy to spend time with. Since we wanted quiet vacations to enjoy the beautiful landscape, according to him we broke “the Greek record of staying out of any harbor” ;-). He got us to experience beautiful bays where we could relax to the fullest, go for a swim at sunrise, SUB’ing, enjoy a sundowner, and gaze at the starlit landscape. Altogether we were lucky with the Meltemi and we got to visit several islands. Everything was a highlight, from the solitude at Polyaigos and the stunning beauty of Kleftiko at Milos, to Antiparos and the beautiful Chora at Kythnos. It was difficult to go back to Athens and we would book this vacation anytime again without hesitation. I highly recommend YachSailing and its super professional team. What you see is what you get and there were no hidden items. Our skipper Thassos was a gem and we highly recommend him as well. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday in beautiful Greece.

The lagoon 500 catamaran that we spend a week on was simply amazing, however captain George and host/chef Anna made the cruise simply unforgettable. George knew all the great spots and is an expert sailor and generally a great and interesting fellow. All villages or cities that we visited George knew restaurant owners and harbour masters personally and seemed very well liked. A true local in the best form. Anna was outside being a gracious host as well as an extraordinary cook. We had all kinds of different Greek dishes and other delicious recipes along the way. I could be considered a picky eater, but everything Anna decided to make for us I very much enjoyed. The lagoon 500 is super comfortable. It’s quite a large vessel yet the different seating area’s being at the bow, flybridge, stern and cabin are all very cozy and keep the atmosphere intimate. Cabins all have a fan and airconditioning and are of a very comfortable size. Bathrooms and showers where also perfectly usable, and very well maintained in cleanliness by Anna whenever we departed the boat for dinner. I’m quite a large guy with 195cm / 6ft4 and I didn’t bump my head into any objects which is quite unusual for me on boats! If you are thinking about booking with this company, I would highly recommend. Ask for George and Anna, but I feel confident that the other staff is just as competent! Thanks again George and Anna for the unforgettable holiday!

We were a bit scared to travel during Coronavirus times, but thankfully Eugene at Yacht Sailing Greece was very accommodating and we made our trip happen! 8 friends from around Europe met in Athens and sailed the Cyclades for 7 days aboard the incredible Casion Royale. Eugene and everyone at Yacht Sailing Greece were extremely helpful, I called Eugene on multiple occasions in the weeks leading up to our trip and he answered every time. I had heard horror stories about renting yachts in Greece but we experienced no problems at all. Eugene was totally fair and honest, and provided a full and accurate breakdown of all costs prior to the trip, including extras. Our captain was Alexandros Voulgaridis from Greece, he was a really great captain and took us to all the islands we wanted to visit, and recommended the best local restaurants. We were a group of 8 young party people and he put up with us without complaining. We were very grateful. I would highly, highly recommend requesting him as a skipper! The one thing our group wish we would have done was hired a hostess. We will do this next time, as they cook and keep the boat tidy. Overall a once-in-a-lifetime adventure... we will be back for sure!

I chose yacht sailing because of the many good reviews they had from previous customers and it was proven to be a wise choice. We sailed the Argosaronic islands with the boat "Big Deal". The boat was in a very good condition and in case there was an issue (one of the fridges was not operating the first day) the team did their best to fix it. Our captain (George Maleas) is the best we ever had and made sure our wishes were satisfied, always taking under consideration safety, of course. This team really makes a huge effort to make sure the customers have a good time. I would definitely go back again.

My wife and I spent a week aboard "Game" in October of 2019, with Skipper Joe. He was very professional, had a great sense of humor, and was extremely knowledgeable. He was great company, but also knew when to give us some space. Since we had the boat to ourselves, we had the opportunity to adjust plans along the way to account for weather as well as what we felt like doing each day. At every port we visited he knew just the right places to visit, including the best local spots to eat and drink, as well as other hidden gems. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it!
