We have just left Athens after spending a week on board the new boat JoJo with Kathrin & George and all I can say is this is one of the best holidays I have ever had in my adult life. This was my first ever sailing holiday and I’m already looking at how/when I can book to come back again. Every day was carefully selected based on the optimal weather/conditions so that every stop we got to maximise fun and exploring every cove/local hideout. Every day food was prepared by Kathrin that quite honestly deserves its own YouTube/Instagram channels because it was THAT GOOD, a brilliant breakfast to set you up for the day and remarkable lunch to refuel after busy morning/afternoons. Kathrin was always on hand to ensure that everyone was well fed, hydrated and to make sure if anything needed changing. George’s knowledge of the sea and the islands is masterful and with each day came a new set of sights, coves, towns, tavernas and recommendations. I can’t recommend how good our time was on board and I can only say we will be repeat customers!

Sometimes details and claims on websites can be misleading. Not here. Having spent 2 weeks on board with Kathrin and Georgeos, they both deliver exactly what they promise. And more. This is an amazing yachting experience, from Kathrins amazing food to Georgeos razor sharp knowledge of every cove and cranny of the islands, there is simply no stone left unturned. These guys work hard to ensure all on board have a holiday of a lifetime. And we did. It was sad to disembark after 2 weeks of such indulgence, however all good things must come to a conclusion. From the bottom of our hearts we say a huge thank you to you both. Would highly recommend this experience. Can't afford it ? Start saving. Rob a bank. Sell the dog. Do something. Just get on board! Missing you guys already. Thanks a million again !!

We took our three children, aged 11, 8 and 7 for a week’s sailing trip around the Saronic Gulf with Giorgios and Kathrin in August 2019. And what a fantastic week it was! We had been impressed with all the 5 star reviews but were still a bit nervous. Although Kathrin’s emails and communication had been brilliant, always replying quickly to our questions, none of us had sailed before and it was going to be the kids’ first time staying on a boat. But our worries disappeared from the moment a smiling Kathrin met us at the Marina and helped us with our bags onto the boat. I can honestly say it was one of the happiest and most relaxing weeks we have ever spent as a family. Giorgios and Kathrin were the perfect hosts. Itineraries would be suggested but never forced and would always take into account what your wants and needs were. Giorgios was calmness personified at the tiller and is a very experienced sailor which puts everyone at their ease straight away. And Kathrin was perfectly attentive without being fussy and her food, breakfast and lunch each day, was consistently delicious without a single exception. Our kids love being in the water and every day we found a couple of beautiful places to stop and swim and in the evening we moored at a picturesque village or secluded bay and found our way to a taverna. G&K were very good, too, at letting us have space and privacy on the boat and we never felt claustrophobic at all. We didn’t want to leave at the end of the week and we hope to go back and do it all again for another week very soon. If there was a sixth star we would give it without hesitation. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough!

I never... and I mean NEVER thought that I would do the same thing three years in a row BUT there is something unique, enchanting, endearing and very special about these two people, their boat, the knowledge and understanding they have, their attention to detail, the care they have for their guests, the beauty of the sea and potential places to visit. Whilst all of the ‘sails’ have been fantastic...this was the best so far... The highly skilled George (MFC) sailed us to the most beautiful parts of the Saronic Gulf and Mainland and as a bonus the wind was kind which enabled us to sail all the way :) In addition Kathrin (HRH), as well as being an amazing hostess and cook, also demonstrated her ‘highly competent’ sailing skills throughout the trip x MFC and HRH are, without doubt, a pair of highly skilled professionals and so personable that over the last three years I feel that whilst we have been guests aboard Donusa...we are also now friends. Most certainly fun, love and lots of laughter yet again made our trip amazing... Iactually cried when we left :( Aside from the beautiful places where George secured Donusa under very challenging conditions (at times) whilst others struggled... the cove nights were just the best....on the first trip a ‘cove night’ was psychologically the worst nightmare for me but ‘cove nights’ with midnight swims, beautiful sunsets and stars so bright are most certainly one of the highlights... Clear blue waters, feeding fish, catching octopus for a little early evening snack, creating memories as a family and with friends certainly makes this holiday (again!) remarkable. I have nothing but incredibly positive comments to make about our holidays over the last three years and look forward to meeting MFC and HRH Kathrin again xxxx If you looking for a unique family holiday - just do it!

We were a little bit concerned spending a week on a boat with complete strangers. But from the first hello, Kathrin made us feel comfortable with her relaxed manners, warmth and her sense of humor. Georgeos was very welcoming and made us feel at ease on the ship. The boat was very clean. It helps that they own the boat. They really take care of it. Every morning we would discuss the journey ahead listening to Georgeos' suggestions but he always let us decide the itinerary. Everyone of his suggestions was great and we discovered one magical spot after the next. Every day, we stopped at secluded coves for a swim and ate a delicious meal prepared by Kathrin and every night we docked at a different harbor and discovered a lovely town and a delicious taverna. The time spent on the water was beautiful and relaxing. Georgeos let us sail the boat a few times, which was a lot of fun. He is an experienced skipper and his attention is always on the boat. We felt very safe all the time. It was good that he is Greek so he was be able to deal with the locals easily. Kathrin is herself fluent in Greek and English. It took some times to get used to the restricted space on the boat, but once this was done, we were fine. Kathrin and Georgeos had a natural way of giving us privacy. They were both very discreet and very friendly. We were completely fine and relaxed. The food that Kathrin prepared was fresh, creative, varied, healthy and delicious. Breakfast offered fresh fruits, omelets, bread, cereal and the famous Greek Yoghurt with local honey and jam. Lunch always had a salad and a protein. We have learned a few good recipes. It was a perfect vacation and the perfect way to discover the Saronic Islands. The area is simply gorgeous and virginal. We will do the trip again.
