If you have made it this far in your search for the perfect sailing holiday…you win! This is the boat and the people you want to be with. JoJo, Bavaria 50’ is owned, loved and skippered by Georgios and Kathrin. Huge difference compared to the other charters that hire out a captain and crew. You feel like you are sailing with the cool kids of the Saronics. They know everything and everyone and make it look so easy. Coming into port each day was such fun people watching…all the other boats struggle with 8 guys trying to tie up, G & K did it seamlessly and put everyone else to shame 🤣. All the 5 ⭐️ reviews are correct. The food is amazing. The freedom of planning your itinerary as you go..exploring a new island every day and then coming home to the most comfy bed. Best trip ever! Just a side note- When you eat olives 🫒….DO NOT swallow the pits! When your body is done with them they break the boat toilet. Spit the pit!

We (4 adults and 3 teens) spent one exciting week sailing in the Saronic Golf with George and Kathrin. It was our first experince on a boat and we must admit it was probably one of the best summer holiday ever. We love the sea, so waking up every morning in a marina or in a cove was trully beautiful. We love the fact that each island (stop) we visited was different then the next one. The water was very clean and there were fish everywhere. We were able to actually catch a few and eat them for dinner. The only regret that we had was not going for 2 weeks instead of one.
George and Kathring, we want to thank you for the great time we had on board, for the amazing lunches and everything else which made our trip unforgetable.
We will definitely return.

Tips for first time travellers:
- do not come with big luggages (you don't need them).
- you might need mosquito repellent cream / spray
- read their website to get all the details about such trip

We have just left Athens after spending a week on board the new boat JoJo with Kathrin & George and all I can say is this is one of the best holidays I have ever had in my adult life.

This was my first ever sailing holiday and I’m already looking at how/when I can book to come back again.

Every day was carefully selected based on the optimal weather/conditions so that every stop we got to maximise fun and exploring every cove/local hideout.

Every day food was prepared by Kathrin that quite honestly deserves its own YouTube/Instagram channels because it was THAT GOOD, a brilliant breakfast to set you up for the day and remarkable lunch to refuel after busy morning/afternoons.

Kathrin was always on hand to ensure that everyone was well fed, hydrated and to make sure if anything needed changing.

George’s knowledge of the sea and the islands is masterful and with each day came a new set of sights, coves, towns, tavernas and recommendations.

I can’t recommend how good our time was on board and I can only say we will be repeat customers!

Dear Kathrin, Dear Giorgo,
in the real sense of your company name - happiness & joy or Glück & Freude we have truly enjoyed the journey with you on board of Jojo.
Never before have I had the chance to:
see such beautiful landscape from the sea,
enjoy remote coves,
snorkle in calm and underwater world busy waters,
feel healthy and tastefully cared for,
meet new people and relax in their welcoming athmosphere and attitude.
You as a couple, as a team, as hosts, as tour guides of the beaten tracks made our stay on board so worthy and enjoyable - this feeling is bound to last longer.
Warm regards from sunny Munich.

We spent a magical 5 nights , 6 days on Jojo with Georgos & Kathryn in July. It was alsolutely fantastic and we couldn't have wished for a better birthday celebration for my wife. Our two boys swam, snorkeled, learned to paddle board and sail as well as dive to catch an octopus (with Georgos), whilst my wife relaxed, enjoyed the amazing surroundings, listened to music and read a book. I did a bit of both soaking it all in!!! We sailed to Hydra, Poros, Aegina, Angistri & Methana- all beautiful islands (even though Methana is not an island technically). All the recommendations Georgos & Kathryn made were fabulous; they both know these Saronic Islands well and we were never disappointed.
The lunches and breakfasts Kathryn rustled up from the confines of her small kitchen on Jojo were outstanding. I'm the only vegetarian amongst us and Kathryn's meals were fabulous.
I can only highly recommend a sailing trip with Kathryn & Georgos on Jojo and I wish them all the very best in their endeavors. I should add that all safety measures were undertaken to minimize the risk from COVID whilst on their boat Jojo. I realize how lucky we were to have been able to enjoy such a fantastic holiday during the ongoing pandemic.
Georgos & Kathryn- you are both fantastic and we wish you all the success in the world. Thank you.

We cannot rave about you enough! Our family had the trip of a lifetime. We took our 2 teenagers on a 1-week sailing trip to the Saronic Islands hoping a unique and unexpected experience. Kathrin and Georgios nailed it!!!

If Kathrin and Georgios make a suggestion, just do it! We could not have found or even imagined these adventures and experiences ourselves. They know the region so well, from activities, to restaurants, to the best gelato shops!

We had the most wonderful itinerary: sheltered coves for swimming and snorkeling, cliff-jumping on an uninhabited island, hiking to a dormant volcano, visiting ancient ruins, recommending a water-sports company (and changing our itinerary to go back for a second day). Georgios even caught an octopus for the kids! Kathrin organized the whole trip, suggested fun island activities, made the most fabulous meals...all from a boat kitchen!

We cannot thank you enough for this ultimate family holiday! We will definitely be back!!

OMG! This trip was a dream come true for us! George and Kathrin were the perfect hosts, and their boat the Jojo was perfect for us!

We honestly had so much fun and were so relaxed on this trip sailing the Saronic Bay. One highlight of our trip was when we were in a beautiful cove to swim, and George caught an octopus and a tuna, which we had for lunch!! Kathrin is an amazing cook and lunch each day was a feast for all the senses—beautiful and delicious.

If you have ever wanted to sail the Greek isles, I highly recommend Alegria Sailing! You will not be disappointed!

We took our three children, aged 11, 8 and 7 for a week’s sailing trip around the Saronic Gulf with Giorgios and Kathrin in August 2019. And what a fantastic week it was! We had been impressed with all the 5 star reviews but were still a bit nervous. Although Kathrin’s emails and communication had been brilliant, always replying quickly to our questions, none of us had sailed before and it was going to be the kids’ first time staying on a boat. But our worries disappeared from the moment a smiling Kathrin met us at the Marina and helped us with our bags onto the boat. I can honestly say it was one of the happiest and most relaxing weeks we have ever spent as a family. Giorgios and Kathrin were the perfect hosts. Itineraries would be suggested but never forced and would always take into account what your wants and needs were. Giorgios was calmness personified at the tiller and is a very experienced sailor which puts everyone at their ease straight away. And Kathrin was perfectly attentive without being fussy and her food, breakfast and lunch each day, was consistently delicious without a single exception. Our kids love being in the water and every day we found a couple of beautiful places to stop and swim and in the evening we moored at a picturesque village or secluded bay and found our way to a taverna. G&K were very good, too, at letting us have space and privacy on the boat and we never felt claustrophobic at all. We didn’t want to leave at the end of the week and we hope to go back and do it all again for another week very soon. If there was a sixth star we would give it without hesitation. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-day trip in the Saronic Islands. Kathrin and Georgios are the perfect hosts, expert sailers and lovely people to get to know. They gave us several options for our sail and this flexibility allowed us to see adorable Hydros, stop overnight in Poros where we had a fabuous dinner, and fit in a swim in the incredibly beautiful cobalt blue and turquoise waters. Kathrin prepared delicious lunches for us both days and even shared recipes. My husband enjoys sailing and it was such a treat for him to be able to participate on our way back to Athens, with great wind making for an exciting sail. Georgios and Kathrin are really generous people. They truly care about their guests experience on their beautiful boat, Jojo.

Sometimes details and claims on websites can be misleading.
Not here.
Having spent 2 weeks on board with Kathrin and Georgeos, they both deliver exactly what they promise.
And more.
This is an amazing yachting experience, from Kathrins amazing food to Georgeos razor sharp knowledge of every cove and cranny of the islands, there is simply no stone left unturned.
These guys work hard to ensure all on board have a holiday of a lifetime.
And we did.
It was sad to disembark after 2 weeks of such indulgence, however all good things must come to a conclusion.
From the bottom of our hearts we say a huge thank you to you both.
Would highly recommend this experience.
Can't afford it ?
Start saving. Rob a bank. Sell the dog. Do something.
Just get on board!
Missing you guys already.
Thanks a million again !!
