I’ve chartered various sized yachts around 1-4 times each year for the past 10 years and this company are probably the best I’ve used. The team at the marina are super helpful and professional, the boat was in a great condition and the checkin/checkout was the least stressful I’ve ever undertaken!
All this despite being the last charter of the year!
I will definitely be booking with this company again next time I’m looking around Athens.
Please take the time to consider why you’re chartering a yacht in the first place - a holiday. This company may have been a tiny amount more expensive than some of the others; but given my experience with the cheaper competitors I’d always recommend charterers take the quality and service that these guys offer.

Greek Isles Yachting is a truly excellent charter company. The service was superb from the first enquiry. The staff are extremely helpful and there for you with any question. One of the representatives took extra time time to sit with us and gave some tips on special things to to see. Taking charge of the yacht was a clear and relatively short process, the same for giving the yacht back. The staff purposely did not make this process complicated or stressful.
The yacht I chartered was in great condition, some mooring ropes replaced at the start to keep up the quality. Sails in good condition, not too old and the general upkeep of the yacht was top. Down below deck was in top condition and literally shone with cleanliness. A special cleaning was completed with Covid in mind.
The maps and navigation equipment provided were in good condition and covered anywhere I could possibly have sailed in 1 week. The in cockpit GPS navi made life so simple!!
My family and I had a truly great holiday that will never be forgotten.

3rd time we chartered from GIY and we continue to be WOWed! The team is super professional and makes you feel they are there only for you. Check in and out is seamless, boats are in perfect shape, all tools and accessories working to perfection, any questions answered promptly and expertly... even during the trip when we called for some advise. Even for a restaurant recommendation on an island we visited.
I could not recommend GYI more!

Greek Isles Yachting team made our sailing holiday so easy even in the midst of the COVID pandemic. Their usual friendly, well organised competence was made even more amazing by their attention to detail on virus protection. As well as a deeper deep clean and careful social distancing measures at the quayside, we were greeted on the boat with everything we needed from sanitiser sprays and cleaning swabs to a forehead thermometer and full protective equipment, should they have become needed.
Of course the boat was great, the area beautiful and of course we had fun. The extra care they paid us was also very well appreciated and calmed a few worried crew members.

Despite the Covid-19 issues, the team at GIY delivered.
Traditional Greek welcome but socially distancing in place.
Super clean Yacht (Kalidna) with a keep you safe kit of sprays and wipes for all the crew.
We had a safe and exhilarating sailing week around the saronics comfortable with the high standards wherever we berthed.
In fact, I felt more protected in Greece than in the UK!
Can’t wait to return

All very professional and great service from end to end! The most amazing skipper and Crew in all of Greece! Seriously, if you decide to visit Greece there is no other way and the best part is, it was completely affordable and the best quality bots I have experienced thus far.In terms of Crew and Skipper, definitely ask for Nikos Avaridis and Vasia!!! They are so nice and know the Greek waters and it’s treasures like the back of heir hands!!! Thank you Greek Isles Yachting for this most unforgettable experience!!!

had the pleasure of renting a sail boat from greek isles the week was like a trip to paradise . i would strongly recommend that you hire a skipper as many people have no clue of how to handle a sailboat are skipper manolis was great and gave use great advise on spots to go it was wonderful trip and i would highly recommend

We chartered for the 2nd (part of the crew even for the 4th) time a yacht of GIY.
Again, the boat we took over for 2 weeks was in very good shape. The service and the helpfulness was perfect, e.g. we needed extra life west for the kids and immediately GIY provided even automatic west for them.
As mentiondes, GIY know how to keep the yachts in shape and how to equip them: e.g. While usually you find on sharter boats only a few meters of anchor chain and only the absolute minimum of ropes, at GiY you will find at least 85 m chain and enough ropes, in case one or two of the ropes in use might have suffered to much in a windy port on your trip.
Further, they know the region very well, e.g. where to go best, if the weather might have some surprises in the days ahead.
Also the hints, where to call best to do some sightseeing on some of the Kyklade Islands or where to have good, cosy and hidden restaurants out in the Islands or along Peleponnes always turned out to be very good.
In case their is a problem or you need some information: You really can call them (nearly) anytime and they really can help you.
So, after having sailed 2x Polykandros (Bavaria), once their 50 feet Bavaria and once Kallisti (Jeanneau), I have to underline that we will charter again at GIY, because you know you get a good ship and your vacation really already starts at the pier 7 in Athen's Kalamaki Marina on arival.
Is there something bad to say?
No, definetly not.
But important, if you have wishes or need information: Do not hesitate to ask. Sometimes it might not be the perfect moment to explain something in length (remember, on Friday evening and Saturday, their might be more than 15 Crews to treat ath the same time), but be ashured, the GiY team will get back to you as soon as they find the time and they will try to make things possible.
So, thanks again to the GiY team, we spent again a perfect vacation. We really enjoyed sailing.

Had a very good experience renting a yacht for two weeks here. Greek Isles Company is a company run by four people who all know all the details about their boats. Also during the trip, they advised me when needed on some occasions. I would come back here again.

Dear Matthew,
thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we don't offer day rentals. Our charters are offered on a weekly basis, Saturday-Saturday.
