This museum isn't one of the reasons we came to Monschau, but I'm glad we decided to see what it had to offer. The collection is enormous. The owner is very friendly and knows a lot about all the animals in the collection. I came here with a group of friends and we had a great time, and I believe young children would love this.

Great morning out and had fun - worth a visit if you are in the area and a comprehensive history of the propertyy, Monschau and the surrounding area

This little museum is a true gem. I have to admit I originally thought this was going to be boring, but I was totally wrong. My two boys loved it. It's not really a museum.... it's more if a touch and feel and learn kind if place. The kids are allowed to touch everything!!! They have little stations where the kids can figure out what they touch without seeing it. They can figure out animal hoof prints and learn many things about local wildlife.
The gentleman who was in charge of the place was super nice and truly knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all the questions my boys had.

We visited this museum on a rainy day. You can spend here between 1 and 2 hours and its really nice for children. Try also the glass blowing exhibition and try it yourself.

Nice museum only if you are with your kids. They will enjoy it more than elders. But they have a market adjacent to it with is good.

The glas-part of the mueseum is just AMAZING! The rest of it is more or less like a big market area with some good offers - even very good ones and some interesting and funny parts

It is a good place for families to go. Children can be in all different ages, nature is always a good teacher. The are is Very relaxing and the Forrests Very nice
