The beaches on this island are beautiful. They can be a bit crowded during the season, but a walk towards the border with Poland will help. Lots of dunes and lovely (almost) white sand.

Nice, sandy beach. Take the walk over the beach from Bansin via Heringsdorf to Ahlbeck! A train is running over land and on nice days a boot trip can be taken also.
