A 2 hour cruise, with a stop for a light meal, in gondola canals. The boat is taken in the town of Lübbenau/Spreewald. The scenery is gorgeous. The ducks who are sailing after the boat trying to fish bread crumbs thrown by people, very cute....More
There are several lengths of Kahnfahrt in Luebbenau. We chose the shortest - 2 hours, which included a 30-minute stop at a restaurant/bar. The driver/gondolier(?) on our Kahn was very informative and humorous (though you do need to understand German, and quite a heavily accented...More
Dirk was an awesome guide - picked us up from the train station (having given us awesome directions). It was raining when we arrived so he invited us into his home for gluhwein and tea. His English is fantastic and we had fun practicing together!...More
Luebbenau was recommended by a German friend. Stayed there 1 night and did the gondola ride. it was about 3 hours long with a stop for lunch. Most of the guides only speak German. Beautiful and different. Germany's little Venice.
We stopped for lunch and a Gondola ride on our way to Berlin. I would of loved to have spent more time here. I could see myself relaxing in a lovely cottage by the River Spree. This was on our itinerary as part of our...More
Went with 3 Germans. The weather was great and the tour was 3hrs long. We also did a bit of walking. Too touristy for my taste. We were lucky with no mosquitoes. The tour is okay but not fun with small children on board. It's...More
We took the 3 hour tour which included a stop for lunch (at own cost) and enough time to visit the open air museum. The slow tour through the canals, the absolute quiet with only the many birds to be heard and the great scenery...More
The five hour trip is a must. I speak German so the guided information was fun for me. My traveling guests did not but it did not matter. Our trip was loved by our three generations of travels, the youngest who was 11.
I have taken many punt boat trips here and they are always great! The scenery is almost magical and the black houses along the narrow waterways are so cute. Love the village of lehde. Highly recommended!
