We visited Hornberg Castle in December, and were delighted to have the place almost completely to ourselves! The castle grounds are also home to a hotel and restaurant, with impressive views of the Neckar Valley. Both of these were in service, but it was a...More

The castle is located right next to the hotel and it’s worth climbing the stairs to take in a panoramic view of Hornberg

The Hornberg Castle is a restaurant and hotel. The history of the hotel is interesting in that it was used to store ammunition for the Germans during the war. There is a wedding chapel on the premises which is a romantic place to tie the...More

Small and manageable. Great views and interesting short film. The panaroma weg is fun but watch out for aggressive bees along the way. Did not stop at the beer garden at the Hotel Schloss but it looked good for a repas.
