This was a very nice sandy beach with lots of space - particularly as it was not peak season! We stopped here for a picnic lunch but would have stayed longer if we hadn't been due at the Eurotunnel to get home! Parking available nearby and there was a large range of restaurants and bars along the beach with shops on the road behind.

We had a side view on the beach of De Panne and the North Sea from our hotel room and couldn’t wait to have a long walk. Walking along the sea on this incredibly wide and flat beach was a fantastic experience after a covid isolation period. So much space! We loved the vintage beach huts on wheels. Like elsewhere along the Belgian coast the view inland towards Zeedijk is simply appalling. Between Esplanade and the ‘De drie wijsneuzen’ sculpture and nearby Ferris Wheel there is an almost uninterrupted ‘Atlantic wall’ of rather horrid apartment blocks with, here and there, a surviving beach villa (Villa Les Tournesols. Villas Kaatje and Poupette). Outside of the tow area, there are beautiful dunes

Perfect for walks during the winter months. Beautiful massive tall statue with three heads each pointing to the three main directions: the United Kingdom, France and Belgium. The other end of the beach has a majestic statue of Leopold 1, first king of Belgium. Worth the detour if you are close.

We nip over to De Panne a couple of times throughout the year, the laat few times bringing our 2 children, aged 8 & 3. We really love the beach, its so big you can sit without being too close to others. There are many restaurants/bars, we have tried a few out. Found nothing too amazing but food was okay. Found a good ice cream store, so the kids were happy. Also the inflatable bits for the kids was good and not too expensive. We havnt been here during the busy season so cant imagine trying to park near the beach, but out of season can park right next to the beach for small fee. The town itself seems lovely with quite a few stores and restaurants. We would think about staying on our next visit and taking the kids to Plopsaland.

A great area to waste a few hours before traveling back to uk. Lots of little cafes and ice cream shops. It's the Belgium equivalent to southport in uk. Well worth a visit

This is a very long beach with clean looking sand. It wasn’t very good weather when we visited but I imagine this place comes to life in summertime. Lots of beach eateries and shops nearby.

Although it was December when we visited De Panne we walked on the beach, it is really lovely and I can imagine in the summer it would be great. It is very clean, lots of shops and cafés along the front, well worth a visit.

What a beautiful place - the beach is simply beautiful miles of endless white sand with lovely little shacks to be able to get changed and bars and restaurants all the way up the prom - lovely to be able to stroll and sit and do bit of people watching.
