A beautiful castle from the outside. Unfortunately, on the inside, you can only visit the first level as the higher levels are occupied by residents. I would say it was a robbery, adults pay €8 and children €5. Essentially the tour was about 5 mins, you can only access the ground floor, just seeing old furnitures. No guides nor any history is written for tourists to read about. I suggest just viewing it from the outside and not wasting your money for a 5-minute tour.

It was difficult to find and after all of our backtracking and navigating rechecks we finally arrived to find the gates locked although their website had said they were open that day. Another couple was waiting at the gate as well. We used our phone and went to their website so that we could call them. It still showed them open. When we reached them, they told us they were closed. We said that their website said they were open and they replied, "Well, the website is wrong." No excuse, no apology, nothing. Another couple showed up as we were leaving. We were later comforted to hear from one of the employees of another castle in the region that we hadn't missed much; just wasted a lot of time and gas.

We were quite unlucky because we discovered this castle at night, so that’s clear that it isn’t opened by that time, but we forgot to check the opening times, so we went back on Monday and it was closed. 😔 When we (finally) checked the schedule we saw that it’s open only on weekends.

Can be visited despite that is still a living castle. You have to ring at the main gate during the opening hours to enter.

We’ve visited the castle for about 20 minutes. There is not very much to see. The brochure that explaines everything, the rooms etc..., is not clear. We had the feeling that they did not take the time to really recreate something of historical value. Feels amateuristic. I would not recommend this, due to the entrance price (€8) I would definitly not recommend.
