We really enjoyed to walk on the route... We advice everyone to try it once and you will continue to go to Zutendaal only for the walking route.

Great experience to connect with the earth and how soil feels. Fantastic trail for young and old. Simple idea but very well thought through with eye for detail and a nice feel-good result.

Did not know what to expect....a walking Tour??? Hmmmm kets do it...... pay for tickest at reception, place personal item in lockers including shoes as only barefoot allowed. it made a great conversation facilitator along the pathways...dirt, grace, log beds, boulders, hanging bridges, mud posts, a few points of interest and closing with a very cool refreshing water walkway through an uphill waterway, also dirt tunnels and high look out points, a few photo op spots and you can end by dining at the restaurant at reception water washing your feet and getting back in your shoes. Challenged this trail with 4 adults and two kids...... very cool!!!

We visited the bare foot path on 2nd July with my husband, 4 year old daughter and myself. We had the best time! The trail is 3km long, don't underestimate that this is a long way without shoes. The weather was very hot so the sandy bits were hot. The walk has lots of interesting features, bridges, maze, climbing areas etc. and the view from the top of the lookout is lovely. The different surfaces make you appreciate your shoes at the end! Our 4 year old loved it, especially the water climb at the end which was so refreshing :-) Highly recommend a visit here, the cafe is also very good value and staff very friendly. There is also a butterfly garden and educational display about bees. All in all great value for money for a morning/afternoon visit.
