This small museum doesn't have much on display, but the items on display are quite unique. All items are made out of glass and the creativity is extraordinary. Apparently you can watch glass being blown, but when I visited this was not happening.

Best part was probably walking up the spiral staircase that takes you to the top of the glass structure, affording one a 360 degree view of the city and landscape.

Entire visit took only about 25 minutes.

Staff was courteous. Bathrooms and obligatory gift shop on-site. The museum is adjacent to / connects with the tourist office.

From the origin of glass to the use of glass in (contemporary) architecture, you can see it all in Het Glazen Huis. Also, you can see glass blowers at work and there's an option to rent the studio. From the top of the glass tower, you can enjoy the view over the beautiful surroudings of Lommel. Back downstair, there's a beautiful museum shop.

We visited here last week whilst at Center Parcs De Vossemeren. Easy to get to and plenty of parking as it is in the centre of town near all the restaurants. The children loved watching the glass making and the people using the studio very kindly explained the process to the children (and us) and also let them do a bit of glass blowing themselves at the end. Fantastic!!

I was expecting more of a glass museum like you see in the USA. This "museum" and I use the term loosely..was a waste of time and money. There were very few pieces on display and really nothing to look at on 3 different floors. The only highlight was being able to watch the glass blowers for a few minutes on the other side of a glass wall. we were all disappointed.

Had a ton of fun creating a whiskey glass for the first time. The instructor was very nice and patient and clearly explained every step. Love my glass and can't wait to make more!

What a find in a small town like Lommel, we climbed to the top of the glass tower which gave wonderful views over the town and surrounding country. The glass blower was superb and all our party marvelled at his skill, we all liked the fact that you guide yourself and can spend as much time as you like in the venue which also has an excellent ice cream shop next door

Beautiful glasswork in a small museum in Lommel. It was wonderful to see the glassblowers ar work in their atelier in the basement. They have some amazing pieces of Kosta Boda on display. You can climb to the top of the glass sphere
