Had to cancel booking due to cancer diagnosis. Centre parc would only refund me 70% of holiday and rest on travel insurance. Said it would take up to 8 weeks. Now been 10 weeks and no refund. Phoned customer service. Very unprofessional. Couldn’t tell me why I haven’t been paid. Couldn’t tell me when I will get paid. Said I had opened up a complaint, when I hadn’t, and couldn’t give me info on the complaint. Asked to speak to a manager and got cut off the call. Really felt like I was dealing with a scam call center. People who we were going away with, cancelled at same time and received payment 4 weeks ago.

We had a great stay here for 11 nights in late July and early August 2020. Given the Covid situation everything was pretty well organised and we felt safe.

The swimming had to be booked using codes but this worked well.

We tried the climbing wall, swan pedalo, kids boat and table tennis and all were well done and, again, felt safe.

Nonnas restaurant and the cafe were good.

The staff were all excellent without fail. Very friendly and helpful at all times and I was impressed. Lucky in the swimming pool and Priscilla in Snacks were particularly good.

The WhatsApp service is brilliant and so quick to reply - 24 hours a day.

The only issue we had was noisy neighbours - a group of young adults who got over excited. Lots of noise and one late night our outside furniture was knocked over. We used WhatsApp to report it and security came straight over at 2am and again at 4am. They took it seriously. The next day a manager (Luca I think) came round to check up and reassure us. Well done. Would be better if groups of young people were given cottages in their own area rather than amongst families with young kids like we are.

Overall we loved it.

Just home from a week at CP De Vossemeren. We received vouchers for AquaMundo which needed to be activated before they can be used. It felt busy but not uncomfortably packed.
There were Walking Routes throughout the pool area, the main restaurant block and also at the beach bar to try to keep guests socially distanced. There are bottles of handgel at all entrances.
We stayed in cottage 619 near the far end of the bridge. We had a view directly onto the lake, and enjoyed watching the ducks and geese glide by each morning. Our 3 bedroom bungalow was compact but comfortable. I would have preferred to have an extra toilet, but it was fine. Had no problems from any neighbours, even though it was clear that the park was almost at maximum capacity.
We did not eat very much at the restaurants, just a few drinks on the terraces. The supermarket had run out of some products at the beginning of our stay, but had restocked by the next time we visited. However, we did most of our shopping at Del Haize supermarket in Lommel town, as they had a much better selection of (BBQ)meat, and more varieties of beer ( e.g., IPA’s).
We rented a double canoe for 30 mins (EUR 7), and also a paddle boat (EUR 5). Visited the petting zoo and Discovery Bay. Great for kids!

We went to Center Park for the new year's eve. The location is surrounded by nature, our cottage in zone 9 was quite far from services but extremely calm. The cottage (deluxe type) was well equipped end relaxing, some furniture or linen could be better.
The central Dome is magnificent and well maintained but all the restaurants and buffets serve more or less the same food and the quality is medium/low (Fuego restaurant deserves a special mention for being horrible). Prices are quite high.
Aqua mundo is nice and funny and offers a lot of water experience for the whole family BUT Center Parc should really think about setting a limited number of access to the pool for the external visitors when the village is fully booked: pools were really too much crowded and on Friday 3/1 the situation was intolerable.
Discovery bay is nice and funny.
In conclusion, if you live the structure as a camping, you avoid to eat all the times to the restaurants and you are not interested in being alone in the water, the place can be very nice and relaxing.

Generally it is good place to get relaxed since all the entertainment facilities are close by each other.

Wow where do I start? Less than half the price of UK Center Parcs and still cheaper with travel (either fly or ferry). We got the cheapest lodge which was great, garden faced the lake, only thing missing was a BBQ so we bought disposable for 2 Euro. Kids 8 and 11. The pool was awesome and good thing is there are 4 Center Parcs within 30 mins so you can use all their facilities too. Couldn't download the app so booked on screens at the Aquadome. Most activities 10 Euro except for Water Skiing which was 20 but so much fun! Laser Tag was hilarious, climbing wall, Tower Jump the kids loved. Aquapark the kids loved (big inflatable) but us adults really struggled, much harder than UK version. Tubing - brilliant. Ate out once at the buffet, 100 Euro for the family but great food. Shows - good fun but bingo too confusing! Staff so friendly and all spoke loads of lamguages. Petting farm fun. Shop had gluten and dairy free but cafe sadly not and no soya/almond milk coffee. Bike hire - do it. Weather was 32 degrees at end of August with 1 rainstorm, lake was always warm for swimming. You'll have the best time, do as much or little as you want.

Following a very successful holiday in nearby De Kempervennen last year, we chose Belgium this year.
We are a family of 6 (7-13yrs), and brought along another family (relatives) with kids 13-15yrs.
We are CP veterans in the UK, as singletons, no kids, kids as babies, kids in primary, etc - but fell out of love with UK locations, due to huge holiday price increases, accommodation snobbery, lack of vibe, stay on site mentality, etc.
Can’t understand many recent reviews in terms of not loving this place to bits.
Get past the fact that it’s a 20yr+ site, so accommodation is dated and love your week.
We upgraded this year due to early booking offer, but you don’t notice the “extras” really (Nescafé Dolce Gusto, dishwasher, and linen provided are the highlights), but not do you care too much. All single beds, but everyone is tired each night anyway, mattresses were firm and felt new.
We were 863, great location, but not much rear view, for the 10 mins a day that mattered. Place was clean and that’s all that mattered.
We still took the bikes for all 6 for a week as we wanted to explore Lommel. Took advantage of 10% discount before we arrived, so approx €200 for 3A/3C.
Find the prices really reasonable (especially compared to UK) and we did a lot between the 10 of us.
Aqua Park - huge inflatables connected on the lake €11 for an hr. 9-15yrs did this. They were knackered, think boys climbing trees for energy levels.
Green pedalos - €5 for 1/2hr. No real policing, which makes you even more considerate and respectful. We also tried kayaking, paddle boarding (around €10-15 for up to an hr) - no issues letting all the family have a go.
We spend 3 days at the water/beach area, spoilt by great weather (lake still took your breath away until you got used to it).
Says no swimming, but a really relaxed vibe, no whistles, so splashing, jumping in created ace photos/vids.
So different to UK lake areas - very alive feel.
Although a walk up kiosk bar, no issue with taking your own beers/drinks.
Great toilet/shower facilities there too, plus seating/umbrellas, sun loungers.
Pool is decent, but we sided more with the beach (maybe due to weather). Monkey Splash ride is unique here, decent height, see through tube at top!! and a good “flush” finish.
2 slide tubes on top (one decent dark period), and a drop slide.
Rapids usual, fairly tame and leisurely, couple of lively spots.
Kids pool for babies quite small, and relatively simple. Lazy river about same size as main pool, not as big as other CP’s. Staff very relaxed (but alert) and not over-zealous.
Booked the Mother & Daughter for my wife and 3 daughters. At €27.50 a pair, it wasn’t what I hoped for but they enjoyed it. Seemed a bit chaotic and staff not quite understanding (main crux is - your family do the pampering to each other, not the staff. Slightly disappointing for me for what was paid.
Nice to have evening entertainment, but the main show was the exact same as last year at a different CP in a different country? Wasn’t as good as De Kempervennen to be honest.
Badminton was €15 for the hour, but used 2 of the 3 free activity passes for booking early. Gave us brand new racquets and no deposits, all very honest and refreshing.
Farm was a little out of the way, so only caught our attention once for a short while.
e-checkin didn’t quite work, but not an issue, no towel packs delivered as ordered - easily sorted.
No safe block - easily resolved at reception, as was new batteries in TV remote - never more than a minute to resolve and always with a smile.
Issues with bikes, including swaps - never an issue and dealt with in seconds. Great advice from cycle staff on routes outside of the park.
Prices at the market were really good - provided you haven’t gone there with the mindset to do a full weekly shop only buying UK products.
Be on holiday people!!!
Fresh pain-au-chocolat - €1.30, Stella 250ml - €0.89 (or €18 for a 24-crate). Recycle bottles for cashback.
Found fizzy drinks in restaurants as expensive as beer, €2.50/3.00 for bottles of Fanta/Sprite, etc, so avoid to save. Either learn to say “no” to kids that “chug”, grab 10x Capri Suns for approx €5, or fill your car.
Without taking the proverbial, staff were very relaxed about kids having these pouches whilst we ordered other drinks.
Although didn’t try - both mini golfs were well maintained, clean and decent props. Outdoor one got very busy.
Discovery Bay is unique here, very well designed, nice cafe (prices fair), ample seating (whilst we were there), perfect up to 10yrs I’d say, older kids may get bored if they lack imagination (craving tech), but there is loads for them to do. Clever ways to get in, barge, water maze etc.
Restaurants are the same as other CP’s. Only tried Nonna’s this time (twice) and Grand Cafe for snacks. We were a little slow to book, and Evergreenz seemed a lot more expensive this time (did do breakfast though)
Staff throughout were amazing, and generally full of smiles, especially as you got to know their faces.
We lost a few things there, expensive glasses, trainers. All found!! Such an honest place, no one being played by anyone - lovely change.
We chose to eat out away from the park - leaving is actively encouraged.
Lommel town is less than 3 miles away (canal 1 mile away).
Go left to De Elze restaurant (500m away). Fansa Kepab shop nr McD’s (very expensive) - a better alternative.
Amazing place, staff so friendly, and it’s a place about experiences, not accommodation (unlike the UK). Highly recommended.

It is really a paradise, every place is amazing, unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the whole place as we just booked a day visit which was from 10 am to 9 pm, we sent in the pool and the main area with restaurants and shops, the pool was really great my boys enjoyed it to the max. The outdoor heated swimming pool was great,.
We had dinner in a restaurant with all you can eat, a wide variety of food and deserts
Next time we would like to book for a stay over

We had high expectations, which were not achieved.
Check in, no welcome pack so left to fend for ourselves.
Premier cottage we booked was tired and lack lustre. Very disappointed, did report to front desk and apparently they are due to be updated, however if you speak to locals, these cottages are over 20 years old.
Aqua park was fine, enjoyed by the teenagers.
Despite booking Aquafit, people just turned up so class was over subscribed with the general public able to swim across participants.
All activities must be booked ahead so took the edge off being on holiday.
Restaurants again must be booked, we therefore decided to eat off site or sell cater, far easier. Felt the places to eat were overpriced.
Most of the activities are to be paid separately, for older children not much to do for free.
