This beautiful historical building is surrounded by a large, well-kept park, perfect for sunny afternoons. A lot of students relax around the park as it's not far from the center.

A nice place to get out of the city yet still be in walking distance. Pretty castle and gardens around. Easy to start walks into the fields and Leuven "countryside" from there. Pretty summer spot.

Free admission to castle grounds consisting of the building, park, and river. The castle itself is a well sought location for PhD defenses in the Prinsessenkamer, but is not normally open to the public.
