This church is very typical for it’s time, outside it’s a bit bland, inside magnificent. Especially the place priests keep their cermons, which is completely wood carved, and not in use anymore, is bafflng. It depicts a fishermen’s scene. To see in combination with the beguinage with the museum and the museum of cards.…

Very beautiful church. In winter there is a magnificent Nativity scene with real animals (ox, donkey, sheep, chickens). The stable was donated to the city by Francois & Jacqueline Boone.

We came during their celebration of their restored organ and the concert was wonderful. A beautiful church adorned with wood carvings and well-worth a stop over.

Saint Peter is a big church in the centre of Turnhout. There is so many altars (small ones, too) and a lot of statues. The most eye-catcher is the big woodworking pulpit, it's very impressive. It's a must visit when you're in Turnhout.
