Beautiful beach
Jul 2020
A beautiful beach that is difficult to access. I found it via the foreshore path that weaves its away around the coast, sometimes rather precariously. A very quiet place but it is worth the effort to access this travel brochure beach.

Amazing (vegetarian friendly) food, service and beach!

Very nice beach, our family loved the Ambient! The food is compared to the other restaurants on the island cheap with decent portions plus the best thing is that it tastes amazing! The lady in the kitchen was very nice. Its also vegetarian/vegan friendly.
The road leading down to the beach is bad so it is a bit hard to get to it but definitely worth a visit!!

Wow

A superb, quiet and difficult to access beach (unless you know it is there). This is exactly what travel brochures are made of, such scenic beauty, crashing surf, white sand, a small resort and not many people.....ideal.

Beautiful small beach

Ao Nuan is a small beach with a tiny resort. Very quiet and very scenic. It is an exceptional place that needs to be seen.

We visited this beach for lunch from Ao Wong Duean and ended up staying all day relaxing. It is beautiful and peaceful here...next time I visit Samet I hope to stay on this beach.

What a Thai beach should fell like!
Jul 2016 • Family
It is a lovely small beach with no pretentions! You can only swimming and chill there...no boats, no jet skis, no chinese holidayers...
We spend few days there with Rain and Sun and it looks amazing on both.
Accommodation is very basic but the food is delicious.

Favourite beach

This was our favourite beach great for swimming on either tide, very few people, beach chairs for rent, kitchen serving food and drinks, shade for when the sun gets to hot. Has it all for a great beach to while the day away.

Chill Out Beach

Ao Nuan, on the popular resort Samet Island, is a small sandy cove on the western coast.

Because it is so small it attracts less people, which makes it a haven for people who just want to sit or lie on the beach, read a good book, go for a swim, and enjoy and cool drink.

There are a couple of small resorts here and two or three restaurants, where you can have lunch.

beautiful, small and chilly... a perfect place to relax
Jan 2016 • Couples
ao nuan was one of the highlights on ko samet. we found the beach after a 20 minutes walk from ao wong duean via ao cho up to the north. the next beach was ao nuan and we stayed the whole day because it was so nice...it was unbelievable for us how quiet and relaxed it could be on ko samet, because the small dreambeach is not far away from realy crowded places on ko samet. the beach itself is small and some rocks interuppt the sandy beach, which slopes steep into the sea. not realy nice for families with small children, but nice for families with teenagers, because the kids can go to party in a 15 minute walk thru the djungle and the parents themselves can stay at ao nuan in traquillity. the resort in the back of ao nuan is perfect integrated into the lush landscape and the bungalows are constructed with a lot of love into details. also the restaurant is very nice styled and offers thai and western food. it is possible to use the toilets if necessary. the owner is very friendly and helffull.
we can recomment ao nuan very much...we enjoyed our time there very much. the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed the whole day...no noisy speedboats or jetskies were around...a perfect lazy day in the sunshine on a relxed dreambeach.
