This was a wonderful experience with a variety of wines for different pallets - basic to bigger bolder tasters. Organic farm with animals such as turkeys geese and sheep
A great place for events too - nice water feature and bridge
Tasting fee of 100B, but refunded with purchase. I thought I was in California tasting

I certainly had no idea what to expect from the Thai wine scene. I tried several wineries in the Khao Yai region and was certainly impressed and very surprised with the professionalism and quality. Alcidini was one of my destinations and I quickly discovered the winery is far more than just about the wine. Finding the place was no issue with GPS giving directions. The family team of father, mother and son are very passionate, engaging, humble and have an interesting story to tell. Definitely worth visiting the weed cutting sheep and turkey pets who were incredibly friendly, particularly the sheep when you have their favourite snack in hand :-) The wine commentary is exemplary covering exactly how the wine is made and what food you would pair them with. The wines are quite unusual in terms of the way they are made and the intention behind them to specifically pair with Thai food. I bought quite a few bottles of various wines which certainly have a unique smell and taste in my experience. I certainly look forward to drinking them. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This winery was run by a friendly couple and son. There's no entrance fee compare to other winery.
The friendly owner communicate in fluent English. There's 500baht for wine tasting but this will be exempted if purchase a bottle of wine.
There's also animals to keep the young ones entertain.

On a whim we decided to check this winery out. From the moment we were greeted by the owner until we left an hour later we had an amazing time. We were shown the pet sheep and turkeys which are raised as family pets. We were also told that they help to naturally clean the vineyards. After touring the beautiful property we went in for a tasting of the 6 wines they had on offer. They charge a small tasting fee as required by law which can then be used towards the purchase price of their products. I have to acknowledge the way they place customer service as a priority as we could freely walk around the property. There were also locally grown avocado trees for sale along with other plants This is definitely worth the time to go a little further off the beaten khao Yao path although with good signage it's very easy to find.

A very knowledgeable young owner who studied wine overseas. Santé et appréciez la visite et la dégustation. Some interesting blends like a Shiraz with Muscat.

Very friendly Thai owners speaking perfectly English. Informative visit and wine tasting, but wine are not that good unfortunately. I don't understand their policy to sell only old vintage (2011) already oxidated. Worth a visit to see the domestry and to talk with this nice couple, but don't expect to find great wine here.

Great wine tasting experience. The owners conducted the wine tasting themselves. They explained every wine making process in detail and how each wine got their tastes. We paid a small fee for the wine tasting (a total of 6 wines), but the fee was deducted from the cost of the wines that we purchased. This is usually how its done in many of the other wineries in the other wine regions, but out of the 3 wineries we visited in Khao Yai, only 1 had this implemented. The wine I particularly liked was the Recioto, and the grape juice and dried grapes (raisins) tasted superb. They also keep pet sheep and allowed us to feed them. Definitely worth a visit! Great for families with little kids too!

Never have I thought there would be a vineyard in Thailand until my family and I chance upon Alcidini Winery.
We were greeted by the vineyard owner and immediately greeted us with a warm smile.
She speaks fluent english as she was brought up in east coast of USA. She briefed us Alcidini is a latin word meaning Kingfisher and the location is known as King Fisher.
She proudly presented us her various type of flowers and explain in detail that her land sitting on spring water reserve.
So we tasted the pump out water and indeed taste like mineral water. The turkey is hilarious , if u talk to them, all of them will respond back simultaneously. The sheep seems to be enjoying the sun as they all resting.
The vineyard was great to walk and taste as no insecticide sprayed on it. All organic.
The best part is wine tasting as she took great effort to gave us a lesson on wine tasting and share with us her awards winning wine. In fact, her rose wine is awarded World Best. Its unbelievable but its true. Their grape juice is also organic and taste delicious.
All in all, it was truly a worth while experience for my family. The best part is no need to pay entrance fee. We used the fee and buy her award winning produce. Well done Alcidini Winery.

Alcidini is just 500m from where we stayed, so I decided we had to pay this vineyard a visit.
The wines tasted very different from those at Granmonte, maybe because the owner, Tony, said they wanted their wines to be characteristic of Thai wines.
It will therefore be good to visit the various vineyards found in Khao Yai to compare their wines as the styles are very different.
As with another reviewer, our favourites are their award winning Recioto, their grape juice, which is supposed to be totally chemical free as well as their raisins.
Tony explained that all their products do not use chemicals or preservatives. Eg in their seasoned raisins, the seasonings used were some dried fruits, and this made them very interesting.
We bought 2 cases of grape juice home, and Tony took great pains to bubble wrap each bottle up for us.
Highly recommend a trip there. Tony, who studied in San Francisco, also built a bridge mirroring the Golden Gate Bridge. It was unfortunate there was a heavy downpour when we were there, else a walk around the estate would have been really nice.

Set in a gorgeous tranquil setting, Alcidini winery proves to be worth the time to get there. It's a small scale, family run enterprise offering a surprisingly good product. The wines are modestly presented and the owners are visibly proud of their creation. It's altogether lovely and well worth a visit to buy a bottle or two to take away.
