This interesting visit allowed us to experience a large natural cavernous area with passages into deeper underground caves containing Buddhist shrines and numerous bats..

Turn off at the green gas station on Hwy 2 just before Chokai farm. Go about 2 km down the road and then you see a sign for magic Cave. Near Marino and Dusit Thani resorts. Large parking lot. You need a guide to take you thru the cave- 100 b. You go down the stairs thru a locked gate and then take a circuitous path thru the cave. The path is paved the whole way. At one point you need to crawl through a small opening but other than that the walk is relatively easy. There is a skeleton of a man said to be 4000 years old. Lots of interesting stalactite formations. The walk they the cave takes about 30 min. Guides don’t speak English.

There are no signs for Keaw Sara Pad Neuk Cave on the main highway and it takes some searching to find. When traveling on Highway 2 from the direction of Nakhon Ratchisima, turn onto the road just past the Lemon Green gas station (about a kilometer before you would reach Chokchai Farms at Kilometer 161). You may see a sign for Marino Resort. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers and you'll find a temple on the left with a sign for "Magic Cave Land".

The cave is one of the easier ones to access as the entrance is right at the level of the parking area and there are only a very few steps down into the cave. The cave is fully lighted with electric lighting and the paths are clear and clean and quite easy walking. The full length of the accessible part of the cave is about 700 or 800 meters. When we visited, there was no charge for entry, but donations to the temple welcomed. There are a few nice cave formations, but nothing spectacular. There are many Buddha images in the cave and interestingly a skeleton (or a replica?) claimed to be over 4000 years old. As caves go, this one is less impressive than many others in Thailand but still worth a visit if you're in the area.

I came to this cave with greenleaf tour and it was very fun. The cave was completely dark. I saw a lot of bats! There are some more creatures like spiders.
