We went with Ben for two one-day tours in the national park. Although half a year has past, and we travelled a lot since then, the adventure with Ben was unforgettable and unique. He took us to all the wonderful places we could hope to see. He was quiet, gave us the feeling that we are on our own. However, he was an expert in finding animals. Gibbons, elephants, incredible insects a snake! Birds, cicada... He had lots of knowledge and he explained to us whatever we wanted to know. About the jungle, the flora, fauna, and more. The driver stopped on the way for us to see more and more animals. We highly recommend this and we want to send our thanks to Ben.

Wow! What a day and a half this was! We started with the half day tour to the swim in the springs and visit the bat caves and watch them leave at night to find food. Our tour guide for this day was Ben and he was amazing, the knowledge and excitement he had for the job was so lovely and he made the whole afternoon very fun but educational as well. Seeing the bats leave the cave was AMAZING! and is well worth the extra 200 BAHT to do the half day if you have the time. There really is 3million bats, I promise! The second day was an early start, half 6 pick up at your hotel and a long drive to pick up other and make it to the national park. At first we were just with our driver, who took us a lovely viewpoint for a while. We then drove to meet our tour guide for the day, who was staying with some other guest who had done the two and a half day tour with camping. His name was Arnold (or Mr Sexy as the other tour guides named him) and he was a bundle of energy! We first went I search of some elephants that he said he and heard in the morning, I wasn't too hopeful but after a short walk WE FOUND ONE! Unfortunately it seemed to be injured and the park ranger then went to call a vet, but it was still amazing to see it in its wild habitat, i couldn't stop smiling! We then started our trek and within no time at all we spotted alot a mekaks with young babies too. We then spotted a group of gibbons as well, both back and white. The trek was around 3 hours and our tour guide Arnold made the time very fun! He was full of jokes throughout and extremely knowledgeable about the jungle and the different birds and plants. You could also tell he loved his job and was very respectful to the nature around him. After the trek we had lunch which was simple but nice, we then went to a waterfall, which as it was the dry season was not overly impressive but nice all the same. While we were hear Arnold then called us back as he had found 4, yes 4 Green Pit Vipers!! This was quite daunting but we managed to get up close and he assured us that they would not attack (although other tour groups seemed to stay a bit further away). We ended the day by going to the peak of the national park and view was incredible! Overall it was well worth the 1500 per person for the day and a half. It will definitely be a tour I will remember for life and i would like to thank Arnold, Ben and Mike (the organiser) for a great experience! 😁

Went on the 2 and a half tour with my brother. The national park is amazing by itself, but with Bobby's agencies efficient logistics and great plan and especially with our tour guide ANNON it was a whole different experience. ANNON was a very experienced guide, with tons of knowledge about every tree, insect, animal or trail in the jungle. In addition ANNON had a wonderful sense of humor and was really careful and warm to us. We will definitely return.

We contacted Bobby's tour by email to stay at their accommodation and do their 1.5 day tour. They very swiftly and nicely replied that their accommodation was closed for the moment but they recommended other hostels. We arranged the details of the tour dates by email, very responsive and nice. The day of the tour we got picked up at the hostel, and drove to a spring where we could swim. Then we drove to a market nearby, no one tried to make us buy anything and we just walked around, our adorable guide even bought grilled insect for us to try! Really nice guide, engaging, funny and makes you feel very confortable! But the best part was how dedicated he was to make us see the "highlight" of the afternoon which was the bats! We first walked into a cave with lots of them inside and he was really making sure all of us could see/photograph them. Halfway through the visit the driver arrived and told the guide the bats were already coming out of their caves even if it was earlier than expected. So our guide very quickly reacted and in 2mins we were out and on the spot of observation for this stunning moment. He took out a long view and we could all use it to watch/take pictures of the bats! It was really amazing to see how reactive and dedicated he was, we saw other tours who mostly missed that beautiful moment because their guide didnt reacted fast enough. Then the day tour started around 6h30, we got picked up and drove to the Park with another guide Tina, who was the most passionate guide I have ever met so far!! She was simply the nicest and most dedicated person! You could see how excited she was herself to look for these animals!! We were 2 cars and there was 1 guide per car. The other guide was also very nice and engaging, sharing lots of info on the wildlife. We started with watching Gibons, the guides had a long view and made sure we could all use it/take pictures through it. Some of my most memorable pictures were taken by the guides through that long view! We also walked in the jungle, this time with Tina and she was just great, she even followed a snake for 10min in the forest to make sure we could all see it! The highlight was the drive at dusk, we could feel how Tina and the whole team really wanted us to see elephant and we did!! Literally everyone was super excited, the guides as much as us! Simply magical experience. I would book a tour with them without hesitation we have seen 3 guides from this company and all of them were amazing persons! They will make sure you really get the best experience! And for the price it is really unmissable! Thank you to all the team for such a great moment!

My boyfriend and I booked a 1.5 day tour with Bobby’s Jungle Tours. We were skeptics at first as we had be warned not to go with this company (by a competing tour company) but we stuck with our gut and went for it. We paid 1,500 baht each plus 400 baht for pick up and drop off at our accommodation for both days - total of 3,400 baht for everything (approx £91 between 2 people). On our half day we got picked up by our guide Ben and driven to a local waterfall/natural spring where we were able to get in and swim around with the locals. It began to rain and the provided a mat and an umbrella to keep all of our belongings dry. Whilst we were swimming our guide noticed a snake in a tree and took us to have a look and provided lots of information about it. We then jumped back in the truck and headed to a small temple and bat cave. On our way, someone on our tour mentioned they were hungry in a passing comment and because of this Ben made a pit stop at a local market and bought us a bag of Rambutans to share (which my boyfriend and I had never eaten before but they’re amazing!). Watching the bats fly out of the cave on the evening was amazing!! On the second day Anont was our guide. He was very enthusiastic from the moment he collected us until the end of the day. He made sure we stopped for toilet breaks at appropriate points and was extremely knowledgable about Khao Yai and the animals and plants within the national park. His sense of humour went very well with his knowledge of the rain forest and he made the day not just educational but great fun as well. With his aid we spotted a variety of species in the park and became fans of different types of edible wild plants and fruit which Anont showed to us. We were provided with snacks and a lunch that was specifically catered to us (vegetarian and others in the group with no pork). All in all we had an amazing time with Bobbys and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. You’ll have a great time!
