About
"The Scotland of India", this is how the 19th century British referred to Coorg (or Kodagu) during their visit to this cloud covered hill station in the Western Ghats. Lodged in the midst of blue hills and green valleys in Karnataka, the greater part of Coorg is drained by the river Kaveri (Cauvery) and its tributaries. It is the ultimate destination to experience regal fields of coffee plantations and surreal beauty of nature. The weather here remains pleasant all year round. In July and August, rainfall is intense, and there are often showers into November. You can visit Coorg any time of the year with all transportation and stay arrangements being managed by Skyway International Travels for your comfort. We have an office in Madikeri (headquarters of Coorg) as well to facilitate any last minute arrangements. We are a 30 year old travel firm recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.

We built our own package. Ms Vaibhavi, Skyway did give feed-back to my queries. We changed our plans couple of times for which she responded well.
Normally, driver knows some background about the places of visit. Unfortunately, he was not proactive.
There are many places in & around Mysore of interest. A tour operator should first know the liking and dislikings of the customer and then suggest or build the package. If anyone wants guidance, I can suggest very well especially about Dassara Festivals, how to go about, when to visit which place etc. and places of visit depending on their interests.

I just completed a tour with Fox Travels covering Mysore to Coorg, I am very happy with the way this tour was organized. All queries/concerns in the build-up to the tour or during the tour were very well addressed. The driver was very knowledgeable on the route and professional. He was a great support. I would definitely like to tour again with fox travels mysore and recommend it to my friends

I just completed a tour with Skyway Travels covering Mysore, Coorg, Nagarhole Kabini, Bandipur. I am very happy in the way this tour was organized. All queries/concerns in the build up to the tour or during the tour was very well addressed. The driver was very knowledgeable on the route and professional. He was a great support. Wrost ever company I have come across. I booked bandipur safari package but the lady who was interacting with me never explained the difference between the package. She is so unfit to this job. She knows I m traveling from Dubai to India and the lady have no common sense that it never felt it is important to explain package 1 come with out ac. When I expressed my doubts she said the facilities would be good becoz it is safari lodge the room looks differently. For my surprise in march I n traveling from Dubai had to stay in non ac room which screwed my vacation badly. I strongly recommend never never book your vacation through skyway international travels for your good

We regret to note that you were booked Non Ac room. We normally give options for all types accommodation available and some times what is available. We shall definitely train our team to understand customer needs and explain in details before giving our offer. Regards

One of the best best services that was offered by Sky
Way international. They covered the whole thing and we didn't have to worry about anything.

Skyway provides the tools (hotel, driver, rough itinerary, good passes) and let’s you fill in the details. With your own driver you set pick up and drop off times, where to fit and what to do.
They have specific tour outlines, but we converted the Dasara-wilderness to Wildeness and then Dasara to better fit our schedules.
Don’t expect the driver to be a tour guide with running commentary and pre-setup precise schedule. Do some research and figure out what you want to see and do.

I was traveling in Coorg as a solo female and given that some of the main sights are a distance from Madikeri, I wanted to find a way to see them conveniently. I found Skyway International Travel online and saw that they come highly rated. I found their office in Madikeri and the employee was helpful in putting together a day-long tour of the sights I wanted to see at a fair price. By the time that I did my tour with this person, I had already been in India for nearly 2 months and was used to their driving and the narrow roads, so that wasn’t the issue. We had MANY near misses with other vehicles (to the point that other drivers were yelling at him), ran off of the road multiple times, and nearly hit individuals. At the first stop, I talked with him to see what the problem was, but I don’t think his English was good enough to understand all of what I was saying. I told him that if his driving didn’t improve I was going to refuse to get back in the car. I was terrified the entire time and was actually yelling at him from the back seat that he was going too fast through curves on the mountain roads. I’m glad we made it back safely, but I don’t recommend using them unless they’ve certified their drivers.

We deeply regret for causing any inconvenience to you during your day trip in Madikeri, Coor.
We wish to clarify that driver who was driving you is Mr. Darmappa, is with us for last 20 years and having more than 30 years driving experience. We allot him, especially for single women like you travelling in Coorg for safe travel. He is a local person and not only knows the places and also knows how locals drive and he is careful in his driving. This is the first complaint we received and we are advising him to be more careful. Be assured that we are responsible tour operators and take all complaints seriously and take corrective steps to ensure error free service to our guest. Thank you.

We had booked a package tour to Medikeri Coorg from Mysore from Skyway international Travels Mysore. It was a great experience ,and thanks a lot to Aparna from sales desk who help with booking Club Mahindra resort in Coorg and also arranging car for 4 days. Our driver,Anil ,who was with full of knowledge on local culture , politics ,food ,he was kind of guide. Very helpful and very professional . Car(Toyota etios) was very clean a for family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids) .

I visited Coorg in the month of August and we were two lady travellers and it was an impromptu plan.Nothing was really planned.I booked cab services for sightseeing for my 2 days trip from skyway international tourism(probably the best decision I have ever made).Their helpline no and contact person, Manu were available 24*7,even before I had made the booking.They helped us in planning the entire sightseeing itenary and the cooperation I got at every point was indeed remarkable. In fact, Manu even arranged a cab for dropping us at hotel since our bus arrival time at Coorg was at 3.30 am.This help was extended by skyway team without me even asking for it.I really don't know what we would have done without this help as when we reached Coorg it was pitch dark with not a single person or transport available and our hotel was around 9 kms away from the bus stand located amidst the jungle.The chauffeur stayed with us extra for around 45 mins just for our safety as the hotel people were not opening the door and no one was picking up our calls in spite of us having booked the hotel beforehand .I would like to thank the entire skyway team for this gesture which prevented us from landing up in a huge problem that night. So lady travellers , solo travellers skyway tour is the best possible option for Coorg sightseeing .Would love to take your services again once we visit Coorg again.
