Big basement with barrels of wine. Worth going. They close ver early--around 4pm. The admission fee is RMB40 if I remember correctly.

My Chinese friends and I visited here, but and they really enjoyed it. There was little English, so I did not find it as interesting. At the end of the tour, they give each visitor small glasses of their white and red wine -- my companion and I don't drink wine, so our friend left quite happy.

You will get an informative view into the history of wine-making in YanTai. Some choice red wines from ChangYu winery to taste there.

Interesting small museum showing history of wine production and industry but best part was the cellars, wine tasting and free brandy!

Very interesting small museum and wine cellar describing the largest winery in China. Can taste wine and understand more about the process of wine making.

Ironically, I've been to Yantai many times, and have had this wine with my wife's family, have stayed in hotels very near by, walked past the museum a few times, and even purchased the brand back home in NYC, but never made it into the actual museum. So how about the wine? Not bad! Sweet and balanced. I never thought... More

I have a passing interest in wine (ie if some is passed to me I will drink it) and found the museum and cellar an interesting and pleasant way to spend an hour.
