Beautiful Scenic Wetland Park
Apr 2017 • Solo
The only problems that I had with this place where caused by my own lack of planning (I took the wrong bus and ended up walking an hour to get to the entrance). I took the wrong bus so I can't actually tell you the best way to get there, but it looked like there were a number of tourist buses that went there.

The entry fee was about 100RMB (120 if you wanted to visit the temple as well), This is a bit pricey so I would recommend going to the Qinhu boat festival in April or during the dragon boat festival in May. I went right in between those two festivals and it was dead. There were probably 50 other people with me in the whole park.

From the entrance, you will take a boat to the actual wetland park. but don't worry because the price for the boat there and back is included in the ticket price.

The wetland park was very nice and tranquil. It felt good to be out in nature after spending so much time in cities. I saw lots of ducks, black swans, peacocks, and I even saw some elk.

On the way back, the boat will take you to see the temple if you paid for it. There is a tower built for the Medicine Buddha there, and I heard that it is the largest such tower built on water in the world. (The Temple closes at 4 so if you want to explore it keep that in mind.)

Lovely place, even in the rain
Oct 2016 • Couples
We spent about 2 hours here walking around enjoying the sights. Their is a fairly new museum but it does not explain or show much. :( the wetlands are quite developed and the animals we saw were all in enclosures like a museum. The weather and rain honestly made this a great trip for us.... along the walk are a number of examples of old farm equipment, which was nice. We took 4 short boat rides and they were probably the best part of the trip. Two of the boats held only a couple of people and were guided by an old fashion style rower on the back. The worst part of the experience was the large crowds. It would have been much better if we went on a day that was not a national holiday filled with tourists.

Qin Lake is a lovely wetland park
Feb 2016 • Friends
I visited here during the Chinese New Year holiday. There were not too many people. It's a protected wetland, with high quality facilities for tourists. The exhibition area is well done, but the natural scenery is worth the visit. The water was very clean. If you are lucky you may see wild elk. There is a play area with some fun bridges, boats and activities. Tickets were 100 yuan.
