Legend says that barren women who bathe in the lake will be able to conceive children again. I went here on a tour from Langkawi, in which we also got to see the sea eagles and tour the beaches. Be careful of the monkeys - they are quick and smart. I saw one eyeing my apple, which I placed in... More

Beautiful location, fresh water lake surrounded by hills. Little uneven walkway. They charge 6 ringgit per person as entry fee. Good for swimming and pedal boating.

Rent a kayak / paddleboat and within a few minutes you are in the middle of the freshwater lake on your own, with only the sounds of the forests and your own breathing. There are scuba rental options too! Combine it with a trip to Kilim Geoforest Park and Beras Basah Island for a full day tour!

Be cautios because of nasty monkeys that tries to grab bags, food and anything they find attractive. One can swim in this lake, there are kayaks and catamarans. The view is magnificient. A lot of interesting informaton about the soil and this island you can find on the route to the lake. Recommended.

The lake is beautiful and very nice to take a dip in. It's deep so be sure you can swim or have a life jacket on if you don't. Firstly, be sure to get there as early as possible as it crowds up VERY quickly and once the crowd sets in it loses it's serenity, sadly. Having said that if... More

A 7 minutes hike up to the lake in the middle of the island. No worries on the hike as pathways and rails provided Lake water was cool, calm and fresh, very nice to swim Life jackets also available for purchase (optional) for RM5 Monkeys were also hanging around but don't worry they won't disturb you, just Monkeys being friendly
