    Fantastic
What an absolutely treat. Amazing place we stayed overnight in the spa suites and, wow! They are so luxurious from the extras inside the room the the facilities ,they are a 5* place to stay From the moment we arrived until the day we left (did not want to leave at all!) The customer service was outstanding from welcome drinks on arrival to bags being taken and put into our room for when they were ready (from 2.30) but you can use all the facilities from 9am the day you arrive to 9pm the day you have to leave. All the extras make you feel very special. I cannot remember names but everyone at Aqua sauna was professional, polite and couldn't do enough for you, which all adds to the experience. We will be back! Thank you again. Mr & Mrs Hills Arrival date 12th December

Spa pamper day treat with a friend
Great facilities, friendly helpful staff. Restaurant good. Treatments are a bit costly but good quality. Only drawback was the express treatment room where I had a 25 minute Elemis facial. The facial itself was lovely and a great therapist. However the express room is designed for several people to have treatments at the same time. Therefore at busy times it would not be possible to have a peaceful, quiet & relaxing treatment when others therapists/clients were talking .

    What a fantastic experience!
Literally from the moment we were checked in by Katie at Aqua Sana, we had the most amazing time! We had previously visited for the day but on this occasion, we were lucky to be spending the night in one of the superb 'Spa Suites'. The accommodation is brilliant, with just 8 suites, all having a wonderful view across the lake and forest. The service was also 5 star, with breakfast being delivered to our room the following morning. Thank you Katie, Melanie & Laura - we can't wait to re-visit again!

    Brilliant as always!
We stayed at the Aqua Sana Spa Suites in December and absolutely loved our experience. Katie and Melanie, who checked us in, were really great and so helpful. We enjoyed our two spa days, all of the different rooms are lovely and the Vitale Cafe for lunch is always delicious. The Spa Suites themselves are such a special experience, a real treat in such a beautiful setting! Special shout out to Laura who works in the spa, she is absolutely amazing and made our experience wonderful. Had such a relaxing time and can't wait to come back!

    Simply brilliant.
We booked the Luxury Spa break overnight stay and it was simply excellent. We felt very welcomed on arrival with our luggage being taken away and put into the wardrobe of our suite. The facilities in the spa are brilliant with lots to choose from. One of the rooms was unavailable to use, and one spa room with tv's inside were not working, but other than that it was clean and a great experience. We had a treatment as part of our package, which was the 55min Voya calm seas treatment. My therapist was a lady called Eimear who was simply fantastic at her job, made me feel so relaxed and the treatment was 10/10. My partner also had the same treatment, her therapist was a lady called Denisa, also 10/10. The cafe was good, apart from the afternoon tea. At £22.50 per person we would have expected refillable Tea and replenished cakes/sandwiches. Our luxury suite was very good, a decent size, great shower/bath, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view from our balcony. The breakfast served to our room was also a nice touch. Overall, we will be returning again.

    Lovely experience, highly recommend!
This spa is lovely! Myself and my partner only had a three hour session without any additional treatments but we had a great time. So many different experience rooms to relax in. My favourite room was the Blossom Heat room. I also attended the Sleep session in the Aqua Meditation room which was lovely. Would definitely like to go here again

    Luxury overnight spa suite
We booked an overnight stay in one of the luxury spa suites and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Hibiscus - beautiful luxurious suite where I felt totally spoilt. We had direct access to the spa which we made the most of. This is without doubt the best spa I have been to, the individual rooms are blissful. My favourite were the salt spa, salt inhalation room and the mineral steam room. Totally relaxing and for 2 days I forgot the stresses of life. Special thanks to Katie our concierge, Melanie for showing us around the spa, and Louise my amazing therapist for an out of this world massage treatment. Thanks also to Demi on my partner's behalf.

    First class customer service
I have been to this spa several times and always return as the experience rooms are amazing and the spa just offers so much. A friend and I booked a spa for 2, welcome food and drinks were lovely, we also had lunch which I highly recommend the lasagne. The staff are always on hand and so attentive. I had a massage at 11.30am which was lovely but after about 20 mins I started to experience pain. I left it a couple of hours but it was getting a lot more intense. The pain was from my neck to my shoulder. My friend suggested we spoke to the Spa Manager. We spoke to a lady called Jenny, who was really understanding, kind and went to collect a lady called Hannah. Hannah spoke to me and suggested heat should be applied she could see how much pain I was in and suggested another treatment with hot stones to see if it helped as my day was being ruined. Hannah kindly booked me in with Andrea who was absolutely amazing, She spoke me through all the treatments, worked on the area in question and was incredibly professional and caring. I don't believe this was the previous beauticians fault at all but maybe she released something and that caused the pain as the first massage was also lovely. The difference after Andreas amazing massage was insane. I had been in so much pain and having to tilt my head to one side it was ruing my day. I was on the verge of going home. I felt amazing afterwards and could of hugged her. My friend and I then treated ourselves to tea and cake afterwards which again was lovely. So, a huge thank you to Jenny, Hannah and the amazing Andrea for showing such wonderful customer service and ensuring our day was perfect. If you haven't been to Aqua Sana Woburn , go as no other spa compares really!

    Lovely and relaxing
Excellent range of spa facilities with multiple steam, heat, sensory and steam rooms. Towel and gown provided on arrival (and replenished later) - i'd advise buying a pair of spa flip flops too as some of the floors are v hot! Communal changing rooms (one for each gender) . Set over two floors but lifts available for less mobile. All seemed exceptionally clean. Foot spa had a third of the basins out of order but otherwise, everything open and in use. Sone of the experiences small so you've not much privacy. Relaxation rooms fine (my favourite was the herbal one). Outdoor pool lovely and warm - hot tub style areas to relax in while you view the stars.

    Thoroughly Relaxing
We booked the spa day including massage treatment. The package included, breakfast and lunch allowing us to use the facilities between 9am and 5pm. I think it represented good value for money. Having looked at other spas in the area, this seemed the offer the most for the price range. The facilities are very good, everything is well maintained. It was busy but because there is so much to do, we never waited for anything. The outdoor heated pool was very nice and I would certainly recommend the spa experience.

I'm a bit torn about this rating, it's my third time at this spa and I have to say the spa itself is great - such a broad variety of rooms and experiences to explore. A great mix of saunas, steam rooms and relaxing areas. There definitely aren't any other spas in the surrounding area that offer so much variety. This was my first solo visit and I booked a Twilight spa as a treat to myself and to try and relax. Being on my own I really noticed how noisy it was. There was a bit of chatter in a number of the rooms - the warm ones as opposed to the hotter ones, as people seemed to hang out for longer in those. Where I really noticed the noise was those outside in the communal areas when I was in a quiet room trying to relax. I've been here with a sizeable group in the past, so don't want to be too much of a hypocrite as I know we chatted, but I would absolutely be more mindful of it in future and encourage everyone to do so. It got a bit quieter after 7pm.

The really disappointing thing was my back, neck and shoulder massage. I wanted to book a 55 minute one but as I booked only a few days in advance only a 25 minute slot was left. It was £51. The therapist was lovely and skilled, but it took 5 minutes to get me taken through, run through and allergies/injuries and get undressed then I think the massage itself couldn't have been any longer than 15 minutes tops. I was actually a bit shocked when she stopped! Another 3-4 minutes to get dressed and listen to the sales spiel about products and then I was taken to the relaxation room. It was packed so I went straight out and noticed on the clock that it wasn't even 25 minutes later than the start time of my massage booking, confirming my suspicions about the length of the massage. So disappointing. For £51 I expected a full 25 mins of actual massage, with the 5 mins used to get ready and dressed again. I appreciate they want to try and sell you products but that isn't what I'm paying for.

The food and service in the cafe was great, although I think the cafe could do with some more ambient lighting and a choice of comfier seating.

I also always feel that this spa could benefit from a couple of jacuzzi/hot tub areas. There's some jets and a bubble bed in the outdoor pool but the pool isn't that hot in February and I really miss a nice bubbly hot tub. It would be beneficial to sacrifice one of the many steam rooms for this I think, but may be a personal preference.

Overall cleanliness of the spa and the facilities are great, just need to sort out the treatment times and consider how they can better balance people's fun days out with the relaxation element. There aren't any signs reminding people about maintaining a relaxing quiet environment or any advice as such when arriving. A few more complimentary products in the changing rooms wouldn't go amiss either like makeup remover.

I will no doubt be back but I definitely being be booking a 25 minute treatment.

Firstly, by way of full disclosure, I absolutely love this spa. It has been my favourite spa for years and I visit a lot. The experience rooms are fabulous and the whole spa is spotlessly clean.
However, given all covid restrictions have been lifted (no reduced occupancy in the saunas and steam rooms etc), I can’t understand why the spa sessions have been shortened and why the cafe is still serving a reduced menu.
I have willingly paid a lot of money for spa days over the years but today I really don’t feel like I’ve had good value for money. Twilight sessions have always started at 4pm and today we weren’t given access until 5:30pm. I can’t remember exactly what I paid but it was around £80/£90 for 3.5hrs!
Furthermore, when we arrived in the cafe we were disappointed to see they were still serving the greatly reduced menu that was brought in during the pandemic.

As I say, I have always loved this spa but the reduced access and minimal choice from the menu has left me a little disappointed with my visit. Please, Center Parcs, feed this information back to Head Office.

My best friend bought a relaxing spa day for us both which we did yesterday. The experience from getting there to leaving was amazing.
We arrived at the entrance and were greeted by a young man who directed us to a hut. The young man in the hut was friendly, chatty and very helpful. He explained where to go and wished us a wonderful day. Great start.
We parked in the hotel car park and spoke to Kelly at the reception. Now Kelly is a special lady, she was welcoming, funny and such a perfect lady to be a receptionist. She explained where the spa was and said to come and find her when we were leaving to let her know what we thought of the spa. 10 out of 10 Kelly, Centre Parcs, give Kelly a pay rise, she is a fabulous ambassador for your organisation.
We found the spa reception and were welcomed warmly and everything was explained about the spa, cafe, changing rooms etc. They really couldn’t have done any more helpful.
The spa itself was incredible, different areas to relax, sauna, shower etc, even water beds to relax on.
The outside pool, again, amazing! Lying in lovely warm water with jacuzzi bubbles, looking up at the moving clouds and trees - an experience!
The cafe served fresh nutritional food that was delicious.
The treatments were the best we’ve experienced (and we’ve been to many spas over the years).
All the toiletries were supplied for your shower (smelled lovely as well).
Everywhere was spotless and clean (unlike some of Bannatynes spas).
On the way out (8 hours later), we found Kelly still at the reception desk and had a bit of banter with her and another colleague.
All in all, a fantastic day out, made wonderful memories and will certainly be back for more.
Well done Centre Parcs, you have a winner here!!!

I visited Aqua Sana Woburn on the 31.12.2019
After previously going to Sherwood with friends and Longleat with family last year I was keen to try Woburn alone as a treat to myself.

The lady on reception was wonderful and friendly, the changing rooms were clean and tidy!
And despite being sold out I found the spa to be extremely quite (probably as it was new year and there would be no twilight spa.)

I had a lovely welcome snack/ drink, pre-booked lunch with the incredibly friendly canteen staff.
Walked round for an hour to get to know my surroundings before my first treatment.

I have to say the two treatments I had weren’t the best I’ve had. The facial felt very frantic and rushed! Although the therapist was very friendly she was extremely ‘clattery and clumsy’ in-between applying and taking of all the lotions/ masks. It wasn’t the most peaceful.
And my 25 minute back neck and shoulder massage only lasted 20 and the rest of the time was spent showing me lots of products on sale in the shop.

However, the facilities were wonderful! The staff were constantly walking round offering refreshments (hot chocolate orange, bucks fizz, fresh fruit.)

My lunch was delicious

I attended a sleep class and a discovery class (Claire was particularly wonderful).

And overall had a really really pleasant day 😊
I hope to make it an annual trip, but next time I’ll book the hour long treatments rather than 25 minutes!

I have visited this spa twice for a twilight session and both times the spa and facilities have been very good. It is always clean and the staff at the spa are friendly and welcoming. We personally find that with the amount of rooms there are to use and experience, having a treatment is not necessary as they are quite pricy.

We have also made use of the restaurant that’s are in the village square. The food is tasty and comes out promptly and warm.

When using the caffe in the spa for welcome drinks the staff were quite slow at serving, we was told to take a seat and then after waiting 15 minutes, while other people around us were served that have come in after us. We went up and asked to server and then waited another 10 minuets for someone to come over.

The use of vouchers wasn’t that easy either, on the voucher it states you can book online. After trying to book and not being successful I rang up and was then told it isn’t possible to book with a voucher online. This was the same for adding on treatment too which I wasn’t told about till I rang again to try and add treatments on. I think updating the information would make using vouchers much clearer.

We went for the Luxury Spa Break and it's nothing short of fantastic. Although at first glance it may seem expensive you get so much for your money (including an hour treatment which is normally £80-110). The staff here are amazing, genuine, very friendly and helpful. IN the spa itself its immaculately clean, with the staff being so organised you barely seem them clean anything up but they are there and do it instantly. The only downside is the Vitalie Cafe Bar. Having been previously they offered a range of lunches from snacks (paninis, mezze boards), to hot meals (like pasta, chicken etc). The hot meals were delicious previously with generous portions, however they have reduced their menu to only snacks that remain quite expensive and also not good quality. For example, the paninis though advertised in ciabatta breads came in folded flat breads with minimal filling. This has nothing to do with the staff who were very friendly, but is something that should be reviewed because the lack of choice is its only let down! If you're looking for a relaxing break I would absolutely recommend the Luxury Spa Breaks, you're away for 1 night but you feel as relaxed as an entire 7-night break away. Can't wait to come back at some point!

The spa was clean, beautiful and had an outstanding number of rooms. Each unique and great in their own way. There was just the right amount of guests so you didn't feel like you were alone and awkward, but not too many to feel like you were being packed in like sardines. Didn't have to queue for a room, only a couple of times we waited up to a minute for a room to become available, but only because we wanted that one specifically as we could have easily gone to the next one which was always free. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and there is always someone around in case you need anything but they don't make you feel monitored or bothered. The amount of spa time you get (5 hours twilight package) is perfect! Any less and you feel like you are paying through the nose for a minimal experience. It was just the right amount of time to go to every room with ease and not feel rushed or panicked that you couldn't get everything you wanted to do in. The outdoor pool was a good temperature - not hot, but not cold so it was refreshing and enjoyable. Massage was also good and delivered by a friendly and professional therapist. Would definitely visit again, I have only gone during lock down, please maintain the excellent offering without increasing the number of guests as this was perfect and added to the experience and comfort! Thank you again.

We booked a spa break for a one night stay on a Thursday night, with full use of the spa and facilities for the whole of Thursday and following Friday. We paid £555 in total, which considering what was included we thought was great value for money. Our break included a free lunch, £50 voucher to spend for our evening meal, and a breakfast hamper delivered to our spa suite the following day. It also included a free 1 hour body massage and seaweed wrap and lots of other freebies (robes, Prosecco, and toiletries). The spa suite was beautiful and luxurious- we wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night! The spa itself was also lovely, it had every room you could possibly think of: steam rooms, showers, salt rooms, saunas, water beds, relaxation lounges, etc. the star of the show for us was the outdoor swimming pool which overlooked the park grounds and the trees. The only disappointments were the quality of the food offered- we did not enjoy our sharing platter at the vitalite cafe, and our evening meal at amalfi didn’t have much atmosphere. But we loved it and would definitely return, especially as all of the staff were so friendly and engaging.

My wife and I attended here for our 3rd visit. Based on our previous experiences we were expecting excellence however on this occasion, the standard was not quite there and this was mainly based on cleanliness and hygiene issues.

We went straight in to the outside salt pool and noticed all of the thick black mould located around the edge of the pool on the infinity side which I discovered when it transferred over to my hands as i was holding on to the side.

Unfortunately, this made me ever so more observant than I normally am and due to this, I noticed black mould in pretty much every steam room we went in to and this made me feel much less relaxed as it felt like we were in a dirty environment. Had I not seen the mould in the pool, I probably would not have noticed it in the other areas.

All this comes down to is a lack of attention to detail and a lack of deep cleaning. Due to this, a lot of the white sealant used in the steam rooms will need to be removed and replaced in order to rid the black mould issue which is going to be a fairly big job.

My wife was not impressed by the massage she had as the therapist went over her scapula bone causing her pain. She used to be a masseuse herself and knows that this was unacceptable and due to this , she did not enjoy her massage.

Putting this aside, the massage I had was the best one yet and the therapist was very nice.

The reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The staff in the cafe were attentive and friendly however it was pretty apparent that they need more staff in there during busy periods as they looked as though they were struggling and the normal service standard was effected.

The changing, toilet and shower areas seemed very clean however as another reviewer stated, I wish it was more private. I have been to a few health resorts and it seems that the more expensive they are, the less privacy you have. Seems ridiculous to me and it would be nice to have a few cubicles as an option.

Overall, we did have a nice time however the above issues made the whole experience feel a bit low quality. We left the spa not feeling as relaxed as previous occasions, contemplating whether or not we would go back in the future. Certainly if the above issues are not addressed, then we will definitely not be returning.

No photos could be taken to evidence the above as phones are rightly so not allowed in the spa area.

I’m staying at Centre Parcs Woburn this week and decided to treat myself to some treatments and time at the spa.

I visited today and had an express facial, back neck and shoulder massage and also the spa sessions.

The check in process was fine, the ladies were friendly and the changing rooms were very clean with plenty of lockers.

Express facial - I wouldn’t have this again. During the facial I could quite clearly hear the ladies at the check in desk discussing what Netflix series to watch next. The lady completing my facial seemed unprepared. She repeatedly walked off to the other side of the room to get the various items for my facial. It became a routine she put something on, walked over to the side, came back removed it and then put something else on. She must have walked backwards and forwards about 7 times. Surely this makes more sense to get everything you need and have it ready? Maybe this is how you use up the time? This was not relaxing! £30 wasted.

BNS massage - it was ok but painful in one place. I highlighted the place it had hurt and she proceeded to rub and press that place?! She must’ve put her knee on the bed at one point to use her elbow to press into my back. Again not relaxing. I wasn’t disappointed that it didn’t take the full time I was glad it was over. I have massages quite regularly and never suffer afterwards but have some aching this evening following today’s massage. £49 lesson to never have a massage here again.

Spa sessions - totally worth the money! There’s no pressure, you can dip in and out of the rooms as you like. The rooms weren’t overcrowded I always found space. The pool was lovely and warm. I had the pool to myself at one point which was fab!

I would forget about booking treatments and just do the spa sessions.

I'm sorry to hear that the treatments you had at our Aqua Sana didn't meet with your expectations. I've let the Aqua Sana Manager know. I do hope despite this you otherwise enjoyed your time in our Spa. Kind regards Kirsty
