Place has small museum and old telescope to show. Guide is very sincere and informative. They also offer service during night when you can observe planets and stars. So they have suites to stay for few days. If you decide to stay there then all observations are free of charge . But they do not offer food. Better to go there already prepared if you decide to stay

The sky at night

Our Azeri friend and fixer Rashad took us to see the best celestial observatory in Azerbaijan on our last night in the country. On a beautiful clear night we were able to see many constellations and with it being a dark sky territory the milky way really popped out almost as good as at Lake Ballard Australia when we were there last year. Terrific facility, bit of a bothersome road to get up there but worthwhile.

Astrophysical Observatory works from 9pm to 1am for watching stars. There also have 1 and 2 flour apartments.
