Paid over $900 per night for a 3 bed apartment. It was only basically equipped with no vegetable peeler, colander or potato masher. The rear patio was dirty with the remains of toenails on it and dozens of cigarette butts on the lawn adjacent to the bedroom. No broom provided to sweep up. We had problems with noisy parties on 2 consecutive nights and it took 3 calls to reception on the second night before any attempt was made to silence them. We were decent enough not to complain on the first night. The apartment was well furnished but the lounge room tv was quite small.

I’ve been a member here for a while. The American shop assistant in the pro shop is unbelievably rude. It’s so disappointing considering how nice and welcoming all the other golf staff are, yet he seems to think he can treat people so poorly. I wish it was an isolated incident but he is continually rude every time I have the unfortunate pleasure of playing when he’s working.

We booked the hotel as it seemed very kid friendly. Offering tennis courts and pool. Thought parents could play golf while kids enjoyed a few hours on the golf course.
Unfortunately they don’t have a kids club. Would of been the perfect getaway.
Great golf course. They let us take out kids in buggies to play golf which was nice of them.
2 storey villa is clean. Great kitchen and sitting area. Everything is nice and clean
Unfortunately we won’t stay again without a kids club. That’s the only negative I can say. Difficult to golf with young kids in the buggy. They get bored very easily.

We had dinner last night at Magenta’s restaurant and left feeling really disappointed. Firstly, the menu has not changed for almost 2 years which is difficult to believe for what is meant to be a 5 star resort. The menu is extremely limited and food average in quality. However, the biggest surprise was that the chef in his wisdom decided to charge $4 for extra Jus as the beef meal came with just a tiny drizzle and was dry. What made this a surprise is that our friends who were eating with us and live on the resort had experienced this previously and raised it with David the General Manager of the resort. David made it clear that the chef has no authority to make up his own prices but clearly there is a disconnect! When Chef was asked about this he became very animated. Ultimately, I would give this restaurant a wide bierth as there are much better local options at a fraction of the price, much better quality, and without the attitude and arrogance.

This place has one redeeming feature the golf course, clubhouse is rubbish, food is cold, slo and very average, service in the hospitality areas is worse, no drinks cart or open half-way house???on a weekend . Come on guy's get your act together.

Difficult to rate overall. On the plus side the accommodation (a villa in our case) was brilliant - beautifully designed and furnished, very spacious, and with all amenities and facilities one could wish for. The swimming pool is excellent both for adults and children, and the estate grounds are very attractive and well kept.
The main hotel, however, was disappointing. We tried to book for dinner and were told that the restaurant was closed. Tried again the second day and got the same answer. Eventually discovered it was only open at the weekend. There is bar food, but it is pretty limited and pretty awful. The service in the bar was bad - waited 15 minutes for a glass of wine even though there were no other customers at the time. Poor wine list, and on 3 occasions we were told that the wine we had ordered (from the wine list) was "not available".
Breakfast was also very ordinary - a very limited selection of food compared to most hotels, and the cooked options were somewhere between unappealing and disgusting.
The golf course is magnificent, and the courtesy and service of the staff in the pro shop were excellent in contrast to the general level of service in the hotel.
Last but not least, WiFi is only available in and near the lobby, is not very good, and guests have to PAY for it. Which century are you living in, Magenta Shores?

We booked what was advertised as a 5 star property at Pebble Beach Road, No 33, Magenta through a company called Visit The Entrance over Easter 2015. We found blood stained linen and mattress on one of the beds with various other stains. The whole property was dirty and you had to wear shoes otherwise your feet got black from the dirty tiles. The oven and microwave needed cleaning. I cleaned the microwave so that we could use it. Neither of the two BBQs could be used as they were filthy. The games room could not be used as when it rained the carpet got wet and the room had a really bad smell. I would not recommend Pebble Beach Road, No 33, Magenta to anyone that cares about hygiene.

I tried to contact this group' course manager through their website several times, called a few times and could not get past reception, and eventually gave up.
How could anyone be so indifferent to potential customers.
I hope to get there one day !
