On the advice of locals, I booked a 2-hour dolphin & wildlife tour for myself and three girlfriends with relatively new company AMI Private Dolphin & Boat Tours, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were so easy to work with, and we had a blast! I booked online, worked out the details via phone, & we were able to sign the required paperwork via email beforehand so all we needed to do was show up and climb on board. They were willing to arrange whatever we wanted as long as it was possible (e.g., they can’t always pick up at private docks). Captain Dana picked us up at a dock we could walk to, found tons of dolphins playing in the intracoastal, took us to an amazing sunset spot, and dropped us off at Bridge Street for dinner. She was so friendly and fun and knowledgeable about the island and the wildlife. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them!

What an amazing 4 hour trip! Captain JD was so knowledgeable about the waters and what we would see where. He very much tailored our time to what we were most interested in seeing and doing.
We had the most amazing dolphin show - playing, jumping, spinning as well as following in our wake! We were able to collect sad dollars, and explore Egemont island, it felt more like day trips than 4 hours! I would certainly use AMI again as my first choice and highly recommend!

My Daughter & her Friends came to visit me and I booked this Afternoon Outing as her friends have never been to Anna Maria Island before. It was a perfect Day well spent. We had an amazing time in the Water with Captain Dana. She was wonderful and knew all the Best Spots. We saw so many Dolphins and a Manatee too. She took us to a Sandbar where We were able to Snorkel around and cool off. It was a fun filled 2 hr Tour with the Added Bonus 1/2 hr. I highly recommend choosing AMIboatingtours.com
They also provide a Cooler with Ice to keep your Beverages chilled. It was greatly appreciated although there was a cool breeze yesterday on the Bay & Gulf. Check out their Website for Great Saving Deals.

This your company is phenomenal. The memories they gave us were the highlight of our vacation to AMI. On our boat tour the captain took us snorkeling, helped us find loads of sand dollars, and got 2 dolphins to hitch a ride with us in the boat’s wake. We got amazing photos. This was our 3rd trip with this company. The boat captains are so capable, friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. The vibe they created was so relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this company if you want to make fun and safe memories on and in the water!

We had an amazing time snorkeling the ruins off Egmont Key and snorkeling for shells off Passage Key. Our boat captain was knowledgeable, professional and fun! I highly recommend taking a trip with AMI boating tours!

We had a really lovely experience on this dolphin tour with our two teenage boys. The area would be beautiful enough even if you didn't see dolphins but despite the hot weather we saw groups of all ages as well as a mother and her baby - amazing! The tour took us in amongst some incredible waterfront houses with Manatees sheltering by the boat docks and was full of interesting information and things to see. The area where the pick up and drop off happens also has lots of really nice shops and places to eat and drink (plus mini golf which is always a winner) so you can make a real day of it. You definitely won't regret it!

Had an absolutely wonderful time! Captain Dana was very accommodating & helped make the trip special for ages 6 to 77. Shelling on the sandbars was especially fun. She also found us dolphins & sharks (!!), Highly recommend!!

Had an amazing time exploring Egmont Key, a sandbar, and seeing wildlife. We saw two sharks, a dolphine, a group of 7 Manatees, many varieties of sea birds, and spent some time snorkling and appreciating the marine life. Great private tour. Chad had lot's of knowledge and skill and made sure everything we hoped to see. Very relaxing and lots of fun!

Our tour was everything we hoped for and more. Captain Dana was more than a captain. She was captain, guide & great companion. We felt very safe in her capable piloting. She has excellent knowledge of the area. She did everything to make our experience a memorable outing. A must do when traveling to Anna Maria Island.

We really enjoyed our personal guided boat tour! There were 7 of us on the boat including Captain Dana.. but could’ve fit a couple more. She had a nice sound system and access to cooler if you need it. We saw dolphins and relaxed for a little while on a sand bar. Captain Dana was very friendly and personable which put everyone at ease. Very fun and would definitely recommend!
