I had a good time doing the ATV excursion at this place. Definitely book online and a few days beforehand. We walked in and all the tours had sold out so we came back the next day (after booking online). I was on a single atv, but you can also do two per atv. I should note that if you are looking for a n extreme ride atv excursion, this is not it. You have to follow along on a pretty close line, with quite a few atvs per group, so you are unable to ride fast or zig-zag (which is specifically stated). There were a few times where i was able to wait for a sec or two and drive a bit fast but it was literally for a sec or two. There are some holes on the ground so it makes for a fun bumpy ride, there is one or two areas with mud so i tried to go fast through those for a thrill. The first stop was for a pic op, which was cool, our guide, Jay, was a great photographer. I wouldn't say there is anything scenic about the area. The second and last stop was at a creek that you can waddle into. Just be careful, rocks are slippery. You will absolutely need a a bandana type thing that is sold in their store to cover your mouth, and shoe covers to avoid getting them dusty.

Thank you Carolina for the 5 stars and review. We are happy to hear you had a good time during your tour. Our excursion are through the foothills from rainforest. We are on top of a mountain we is the reasons why we had picked 15 per hour in order to keep the clients save. Jay is a great tour guide. Thank you so much for the feedback and we truly hope you come back soon to try the other excursions we have.

Went in without a reservation to try out the 2 hour ATV tour. The next available tour was 3 hours later which gave us some time to hit up El Yunque and Luquillo. The first person that greeted us on the ranch also happened to be our tour guide when we came back, Anthony Lopez. Our group had 4 people with each using their own ATV, along with 2 more ATV's that had couples on them. Yes, you can't go full throttle with the ATV's, but the speed is perfect to take in the surroundings and also experience some good off-roading. We stopped a few times for pictures which was great. My best part was jumping into the river and swimming in it. Refreshing!

The ranch is beautiful with many things to do and includes clean washrooms, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Staff was very friendly and you felt secure with the security they have.

Anthony Lopez made this great tour amazing with his down-to-earth, humorous, positive, and humble attitude. A true asset for this establishment. He made us feel at ease and made sure we were all enjoying the tour. He provided some historical knowledge on the rain forest as well as the indigenous Taino Indians.

The only negative comment I can make is about the stop where you can use the restrooms and get something to snack on. Very overpriced for what they offer. $6 for a kabob/pincho with only 3 pieces of meat. You can get a full kabob for less than half price outside the area. This doesn't take away from the tour so I'm not knocking a point for it.

Just a little advice when on the ATV's; trust your guide and follow his lead with confidence. Whatever they drive through can be taken by the ATV's and no need to stop and be scared to go through a puddle as doing so will make the tour aggravating for anyone following behind. We had this happen on our tour and it was annoying. I do recommend the 2 hour tour. It's a bit pricey, but cost as much as a renting a jet ski for an hour, but the ATV, at least for me, is a way better experience.

Thank you Anthony for a great experience! You are a true example of the great people of Puerto Rico!

We did the 2 hour ATV ride through the jungle. There were 5 of us in our party. We had a great time. The ride took us through the jungle to some beautiful picture spots where we were all able to get some good pics. We them]n went to the river where we were able to swim and jump from ricks along the bank. It was quite refreshing. Where a bathing suit under your clothes. It recommends wearing pants but we all wore shorts with no issues . Sunglasses and a bandana for your face is a must. Save yourself some money and grab a bandana before your arrival. We got 5 bandanas at a store ahead of time for less the what they charged for 1 bandana. We also didn’t want to ruin our good sneakers so we grabbed some $6 sneakers from Walmart on the way. We also stopped to eat some kabobs. I found these kabobs to be undercooked, and grossly overpriced. Not waste your money. You can get kabobs 1/2 that price and 4 times that size at the kiosks in Luquillo Beach. The guides were great and informative. We had Anthony he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This was well worth the money. If you are trying to decide between the 1 hour and 2 hour tour spend a few extra dollars and do the 2 hour tour. I highly recommend this tour for people of all ages and level of experience. Oh and if you are a passenger the ride is equally fun, smooth and comfortable.

We recently decided to visit Hacienda Carabalí to enjoy natura activities as for example riding a horse and four tracks. As locals, we have visited many years ago. Once again, they exceeded our expectation. Considering they had just opened after the lockdown due to pandemic, the experience and service was excellent. Since my first call to clarify doubts, all the way to the entrance with the guard, restaurant staff directing us to the park, restaurant servers, registration and riding a horse staff...they were all excellent. They went the extra mile when my daughter got scared with the horse (it was her first time riding), talked to her, had a lot of patience and the final result was that she enjoyed her first time riding a horse. Rocío voluntarily got in a horse and went had in hand with my daughter during the tour; Kevin M our guide, did several stops to make sure my daughter was with us. The supervisor whose name I don't know, was amazing as well.
Last but not least, the organization was spectacular; signage; cleanliness; protocol, etc. I fully recommend you visit Hacienda Carabali, even if you are a local or tourist. They have many activities to offer!

If you ask my kids the horseback riding tour through the rain forest was the highlight of our week in Puerto Rico. Juan and Pablo were our tour guides and they were fantastic. They made sure first that everyone was safe and comfortable on the horses then led us through the jungle pointing out all kinds of wildlife and sights, making us laugh the whole time!!! Thanks guys!!!

My husband and I did the ATV activity and we both booked as drivers. It was our first time and we had fun. When we started, we had to take a quick test to make sure all drivers could brake. I passed this test. As we started moving, I was in the last in line. They had separated our group so my husband was not in my group anymore.

We were barely 5min into the ride when the guide said I was driving too slow and should come up and be the first in line. He said if I wasn't keeping up with the group or driving in a straight line, then I'd have to become a passenger. He said I had one last chance. Lmao, I don't do well under those circumstances. Next turn, and my ATV was in the shrubs. He called it in and another guide came and drove me super fast to meet up with my husband (their group was way ahead of us for some reason). This all happened within the first 10min of the 2hr tour.

I was actually glad to not drive anymore because all the rocks and uneven terrain was not for me. However at the end of the tour, they said no refunds. We discussed with the supervisor and were given $16 out of $110 that we had paid. I actually laughed because there was a whole "we don't usually do this" spiel before she said we'd get $16.

Overall, I had a good time. I suggest you book the 1hr ATV/UTV tour. The only difference with the 2hr tour is that you spend a bunch of time at two different spots on the same river that you can honestly just admire from the road.

If you are in a group of two, book only one ATV and switch who is driver/passenger unless both people have experience driving an ATV. Good luck.

My husband and I wanted to do something a little intimate. We chose the horseback riding activity. We recommend that you reserve your spot for the different activities offered ahead of time because they can get extremely busy. Our tour guide, Luis, was entertaining. He made our experience fun and we enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take a swim because it was raining a couple of days and it made the water a bit dirty.

My husband and I did the 2-hour ATV tour and loved it! Jay was our tour guide and if you have the option of asking for a guide, I would 100% recommend him. Not only was he knowledgeable, fun, and considerate of everyone in the group but he would make little stops along the way up and down the hillside to stop and grab us fruits right from the vine. We had delicious passion fruit and a little orange fruit (cannot remember name) he picked right from the vines for us. He also picked several leaves along the way to show us at the final river-side stop how the Taino people used to drink water and some other cool tricks. Jay also made several stops along the way and volunteered to take various photos for everyone in our group. The tour was beautiful, scenic and a lot of fun. We've done other ATV tours in other Caribbean islands and this was by far the best we have ever done. We also had some empanadas from the on-site restaurant which were delicious. Definitely a highlight of our trip and I would not hesitate to book again.

The office staff needs a class on customer service. They were rude and nasty and blatantly overcharged our group. When we questioned the issue we were stalled on the ATV's and missed an entire hour of our two hour tour.
The tour consists of nothing more than riding through the woods with very little scenic quality. But for our tour guide ANDREW the entire trip was a waste of $190.00 and I would given 1 star!!!
Andrew rocks!

We took an extremely peaceful one hour horseback ride through the fields and pastures at the base of the El Yunke rainforest. Our guide Alex was great! He was patient, kind, and great fun to talk to (he taught us about local flora and even showed us a picture of his pet bull). Our horses Taíno and Caramélo were well trained and easy to control, and entertained us with the occasional bouncy trot. All around a great way to spend an hour. Would love to come back for the beach tour!
