Tubing down the Cowichan River was one of the most relaxing 3 hours I’ve ever spent. We were going to hire floaties but ended up buying and taking our own. The first hour or so was really relaxed and we just slowly floated (and had...More

Went with my 7-Y-o grandson, fell in the river on departure, which was fun for everybody (except me!) but managed to stay tube-borne for the rest of the 2.5 hr lazy drift down the beautiful Cowichan River. The rental was seamless, the bus was waiting...More

Such a simple thing but so much fun. My wife and our 2 boys (12 and 14yo) did the trip last week at the height of the heatwave. We had pre-booked using the Tubeshack website which was easy to use but there were still plenty...More

Relaxing 2 - 3 hour trip down a lazy river. Wear lots of sunscreen, bring a hat and cheap sunglasses and enjoy the ride. River has slow deep spots where you can get off the tube and swim around and cool off. Bring a paddle...More

If you rent your tube from Tube Shack, the price of shuttle is included. Fifteen minutes or less wait. I wouldn’t walk back carrying a tube.

Earlier definitely. Cooler temperature - less busy. We did the afternoon 1-3:30 and it was lovely much to my surprise but without a breeze it would have been sizzling. Enjoy!
