The check-in counter offers paddles and life jackets and different types of tubes. We forgot to ask for life jackets and they forgot to offer so imagine our surprise when my daughter leaned forward in her seated tube (without the hole) and slipped right under...More

The only real way to have fun at Lake Cowichan unless you have a cottage and private water access. It was great to just come to the shop, sign up for a tube and start floating down the river. It was 2 hours of relaxing,...More

My kids (ages 11 and 9) and I had our first river float today and it was great. I can see the trip will vary a little in speed depending on the water level, but today's hot weather was a great time to be in...More

This is my first experience with the Tube Shack and it was excellent! The tubes were very clean and new and the staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely rent from them again.

We booked online and everything was ready for us when we arrived. There were public change rooms to use across the street. The car keys could be left at the shack. Wear plenty of sunscreen, a hat and shoes. We didn't have any spots where...More

This is our 2nd time this summer, and it was easily just as fun as the first time. Really relaxing and just a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. We booked ahead, it was less than 5 minutes from the car to the...More

The whole experience was smooth and fun, but the highlight was definitely the fact that as soon as we were done, we just loaded up and headed back to return our tubes! There was no waiting or shivering in the shade while the shuttle did...More

Earlier definitely. Cooler temperature - less busy. We did the afternoon 1-3:30 and it was lovely much to my surprise but without a breeze it would have been sizzling. Enjoy!
