We stopped at this winery for a wine-tasting and lunch. The building is modern, welcoming and with incredible vistas towards the vineyard and the mountains. The wine-tasting is very reasonable and they wave the $5 fee if you purchase a bottle. Some of their wines were astounding. Lunch was served on a patio under a canopy to protect us from... More

I've had lunch here three times this summer. The weather has been hot and sunny every time, so we could sit outside and enjoy the view of the vineyards and mountains. The menu makes the most of local veggies, fruit and proteins. Because of this the menu follows the season and changes every month or so and there are daily... More

A winery in Lillooet (with an attached patio restaurant) ... & in an impressive, modern building! We turned around to visit this place. Having been initially impressed, service was very ... very, slow. We happily waited for the couple before us to finish their tasting, but were not impressed, when having started our tasting, we had to wait for another... More

The winery has a wonderful selection of wines available for tasting and purchase. Loved the Chardonnay and the late harvest Reisling. Going back for dinner tonight

This winery was quite a surprise. First of all, Lillooet is pretty remote; second, it’s so far north, one wouldn’t expect to see vineyards at all; and finally, the town has a rusticity more commensurate with whiskey than wine. But the winery was modern and the wine tasting experience was fine. We bought several bottles to take home. The biggest... More

Was looking for a nice place to eat with a view and great weather so outdoors was a plus. However, the service was indifferent/slow, the food tried to be fancy but failed to be good. Didn't even get a cold drink. Seriously people.

Traveling through town we stopped at the winery for lunch. First a little wine tasting that was excellent Bought a couple of bottles then off to lunch. What we thought was going to be mediocre turned out to be incredible! I, being simple, ordered a burger. Well let me tell u it was not just a burger. It was fabulous!... More

Nice, intimate setting with a great view. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, there were no specials the day I was there and since there is very little for a vegetarian on the menu, I had no choice but to get the salad. At first I felt a little disappointed, but it was so fresh and wonderful that I quickly forgot.... More

Thank you for sharing your experiences at the Kitchen at Fort Berens. We appreciate the feedback about the lack of vegetarian options on our menu. Our menu changes often and we do try to have a good balance of various dishes on the menu. We pride ourselves with creative vegetarian dishes such as Tomato gazpacho, Stuffed morels, Morel gnocchi, Arugula... More

Arrived Friday to have dinner, but it was tapas night. So stayed and ate outside. Our server suggested a light wine and we tried almost the whole menu. Beautiful scenery, great service, amazing food. You are so lucky to have this in your town.
