Had a few hours to kill whilst between trains on the Wensleydale Railway so we walked down to this and the neighbouring Chocolate factory. You walk through a side door and can see the teapot making process from fired pots to decorated to shop. They...More

You do a brief self guided tour of you come here and there were artists painting the teapots today. They have some unusual items for sale and especially good value seconds.

A quirky shop. The pottery wasn't working when we visited. Some unusual designs (camper van, police helmet, cup& saucer teapot) a varied range. Worth a visit but not cheap (but individually made so price reflects that). Would be a collector's dream

Very disappointing, little activity in factory, very niche products and expensive. Not worth a trip outside Leyburn

Very nice, the teapots are fun and come in all sorts of different themes. I loved the tiny tea sets for children, and the children's book themed ranges, such as Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. The prices are reasonable and you can also buy...More

Arrived on a Saturday bank holiday weekend. No charge to see the factory, which takes a couple of minutes. Only one employee working, hand painting tea pots, so not much to see. (Wasn't a hundred percent convinced that any manufacturing takes place there.) Enjoyed the...More

On arriving at the Teapottery we entered the main factory setting. It was lunchtime so unfortunately their wasn't anyone around. But we could see the teapots that were being produced and later painted. I remember visiting this place about 8 years ago and the standard...More
