Small chocolate making establishment on a small industrial estate on the outskirts of Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Chocolate being made for orders in our shop on site and to supply other shops - not done as just display. Do not expect a Cadbury`s world -- it is not - but it is free entry and we make exceptionally good chocolates and cakes for our small cafe`.- absolutely no obligation to buy -- we also have free Wi Fi . Toilets on site for patrons of Cafe - no public toilets on site 20 - 30 minute visit -- or longer if indulging in cafe or chocolate making workshop

Coffee shop freezing cold, little choice of cakes, also cold and dry. Nothing happening to watch in factory. Brought chocolates home, not impressed, little flavour, Chilli chocolate like eating pot pouri.

It's always great to find interesting little places to stop off on road trips. I've seen the signs pointing to this place from the A684 on numerous occasions, but this was the first time I'd ventured in. A small, but perfectly formed, chocolate factory that also serves as a chocolate shop and café. From the café I got an early... More

A lovely small attraction and well worth popping in if you are passing. It was almost closing as we arrived so we didn't see the chocolate being made but we got to taste. It is incredibly lovely chocolate and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We visited this little gem on our way back to Akebar park and was delighted with the friendly atmosphere and knowledge of the owner. The little cate looked really cosy and we will try it in the future. We would have loved to bring our grandchildren for a visit but as not opened at the weekend this is not possible.... More

My kids and I visited the Little Chocolate Shop last summer and although they have a delicious variety of treats there is little else of interest in the place. It would be a little more interesting if they actually did a little tour explaining the chocolate making process.

Just outside Leyburn on the way towards the East. Friendly staff, daughter spent an age making a chocolate Pizza after watching the ladies making a number of different pieces of Chocolate using molds and a machine for each type of chocolate. Little cafe at the back and a good selection of pieces to buy. A little expensive but the pieces... More

We went to the little chocolate shop back in October and were greeted by a small and quaint workshop with an Ok cafe, unfortunately overshadowed by the rudeness of the man behind the counter. Making very uncomfortable jokes about how we were southern and had come to see how the poor half of the country lived. Terrible customer service with... More

I am sorry that you were unable to appreciate our small chocolate making experience. I am also sorry that you felt I was somewhat rude. As the owner of the business my intention is to engage and hope that everyone enjoys and understands the visit taking in the complication of making quality chocolates made with premium Belgian chocolate. As a... More

Popped in here as we were passing. Nice little cafe, good coffee. Hot chocolate with real chocolate on a stick was good. It's quite a small place with a great range of chocolate products (as you would hope) It is more appealing to kids I think and I have to say my son loved making the chocolate pizza, it was... More
