Didn’t even know this hidden gem even existed.
Did a quick Google and read the reviews and thought I’d give this a try with a friend on a Sunday evening
We were created by a friendly member of staff and seated

She helped us decided how many Tapas dishes to order
We went for;
The aubergine
Potato braves
Chorizo with red peppers and butter beans
Chicken in a white wine sauce
And two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc
We were served with cheesy garlic bread to start-yummy
The bill came to £36.00 which we found reasonable
The food was hot, tasty and fresh.
We really enjoyed our meal and will be returning again soon

Actually the second time we've been there in a year even tho we live in Kent ....when in the area it's worth a visit.

Looks like a pub on the outside but is a nice cosy restaurant and bar inside.

Very good quality food. We had a range of starters inc chicken , prawn and beef skewers which very excellent quality, lovely spices .

The lady host was very warm and friendly without overdoing it .

We last went on Saturday lunchtime which was quiet but during that time people kept phoning and popping in to make reservations for the evening. So it's seems very popular .

Good value. Will go again when in the area .

This little jewel in Crossbrook Street is a must for locals and visitors. It mixes a small and friendly bar in with a deceivingly large but cosy restaurant.

The menu has enough variety to suit most tastes and there are regular specials that rarely fail to hit the spot.

Service was at times criticised as slow in early days but thankfully that is never a problem now. The wine list is excellent for the price range and regular beers are very reasonably priced.

Cheshunt can be rather a loud place, shout first an think later, but this place seems to buck that trend and that's why couples and families make up the restaurant clientele.

No two ways this is something nice to do ....so do it!

My son has promised to take me here for ages, the day came last Sunday. Had a rib eye, it was ok but couldn't believe they had no mushrooms, there is a Tesco a couple of minutes away but they did not think of getting some, 4 of our party wanted them, all they offered was chips and there was other sort of chips on plate. We ordered bread which was a palarva at they had no normal bread. Then the bread turned up with no butter, after asking for butter we were told they did not have any.
This is by far not a cheap restaurant, I will not be rushing back there soon. Would have been better of going to a beeteater for what we wanted and would have been half theprice

Oh dear! Having previously given this restaurant rave reviews sad to say I won't be returning again after having the awful experience of biting on glass whilst eating a meatball. Fortunately I spat it out unharmed and asked for the Manageress. At first she thought it was rock salt, showed the chef, and then agreed that it was indeed a sharp piece of glass.

We were offered £10 off the bill and an embarrassed, half-hearted apology. Not even an offer of a drink on the house!

I followed up with an official complaint and was told that an investigation was carried out and no glass found. They stated that their standards of health and hygiene were 5 Star and there was nothing further they could offer me - on both counts I beg to differ.

In conclusion I would have to say dine there at your own risk. We shan't be returning.

We didn't know the area so used Trip advisor to find a place to eat and this seemed to be ok. Car park very tight! Beware! Pleasant staff. Fajitas ok, grated cheese accompaniment was mouldy!! Their equivalent of chilli beef ok but a 'ping' dish. We were hungry, we were tired so we ate what we could. We will not go again!!

Really enjoyed our visit here. Food was delicious and we ordered far too much as wanted to try it all! Waitress was very helpful and made good recommendations. It was quite quiet when we went but I would be concerned about parking had it been busy. Good cake for money. Will be back if in the area again
