Well done Blue Anchor

We have come back to this pub since lockdown. What a great Covid friendly set up. New outdoor experience . A young man by the name of Elliott served us . Offered us a selection of lagers and ales on a wipe board. Great idea as you can amend daily as ales change . He was really friendly and helped the shall we say more mature customers in a really nice way . It's hard enough with all that's going on but he is a credit to the business.
Inside the pub is well set up with clear signage and rules as to what to follow.

The Best Pub in Teignmouth!

Visited this pub on holiday last year and enjoyed a good selection of ales. On holiday again, on the off chance last night, we turned up without booking to watch England v Denmark and we were lucky as someone had just cancelled their booking. Pleased to say the beers were as good. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, the staff were brilliant despite being so busy and what a memorable night. Thanks!!

Great beer superb service, perfect

Well what more could you want from a pub. Though it was busy the service was excellent, very fast very helpful and the beer was kept to perfection. I was only in Teignmouth for two nights and after coming across The Blue Anchor on the first night, there was no doubt where I would be on the second. Pleasant environment and friendly customers. If/when I return to Teignmouth I will look no further than The Blue Anchor.

Lovely pub with a great garden and excellent service. We visited on our first night and then had to go back on the second night (only shame was they were closing early as we could have spent the whole evening there). They have a fantastic gin selection and the ales were great too.

Fantastic pub. Loads of craft beers on Keg and Cask. Brilliant Christmas decorations inside and outside. My new found favourite pub in Devon. Oh, the beer is really cheap compared to London but then again, what isn't.

Hands down the friendliest and best table service, from ALL of the staff that I have experienced. Super prompt beer replenishment - no waiting. Very organised and COVID safe throughout. Highly recommended for drinks and sports events.

Nice drink with family in the garage part of the pub, fairly warm as outside but inside do dry on this rainy day, the heaters were on so very comfortable with feeling of air circulation, which in the current Covid 19 era, was great. dogs welcome . Good ale selected , bell 🔔 service.

Loved this place.Read a previous review that stated they always have a dark or a porter and yes there was and it was lovely :-) Great choice of other ales from around the South West and further afield
Good value and nice atmosphere.Happy to walk in on my own and will definately come back
