Love this beach and have visited many times. There are a huge amount of dogs in this area but no dog mess, I am pleased to say. It is kept very clean. Love the long beach walks from Dawlish end to Shaldon. You have to visit the lovely old fashioned pier too!

Great weather for October so went to the beach which was not the best and was full of dogs for the majority of the promenade.
Pier only short and very old.
Lots of cafes and seating along the front so you can have a take out rather than sitting in.
Town centre is split along several streets and lots of shops to browse in.
Ferry across to Shaldon isn’t suitable for elderly people due to uneven beach access and gang plank! Best to drive over the bridge.
Lovely little lighthouse by the carpark near lifeboat station/quayside.

3 day break staying in Teignmouth and great weather for October made it well worth it.
Huge town centre criss- crossing many streets just off the beach. Not hilly in the town but the usual inclines elsewhere.
The Pier is old and uninviting but the ferry across to Shaldon is cheap enough. The promenade is ok for those liking the sea breeze.
Cute lighthouse near the lifeboat station and carpark.
Plenty of places to eat and drink.

Pleasant walk along promenade above beach with red sand. Very nice ice creams from just inside pier building right hand side next to arcade. Toilets nearby free and clean. Good to see plenty of bottles being recycled and made into art forms in amongst the flower beds.

It’s a sandy/pebbly beach with a shabby pier on it. It does have public toilets and you can walk along the front and maybe get an ice cream. You can while away an hour there but there’s better areas to visit nearby.

Well kept town. Gents Loo was extremely well kept and free. (unlike the ones in Paignton which cost 30 p) Not everyone has bank card to swipe for entry.

There is a Sandy beach. Beach amenities like showers and toilets are inadequate. Very few toilets and no showers.

Only the front of the pier is opened during peak season!!!

No donkey rides nor a road train!

We love this place the views are amazing, we love all the recycled art. My kids love the park. We have spent more time there than we expected for a rainy day.

Nice to stroll along the front, with attractions including the pier, mini golf and a skate park. Pretty low key but pleasant.

Spent a very pleasant couple of hours walking the front and beaches, lots of people enjoying themselves, a great place to go on a sunny day
