Apr 2013 • Family
Have been with friends and family 3 times to the Goat cheese farm and enjoyed a special experience every time. The family running it are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. You have to pre-book a tour and there is a minimum number (about 10 I think) but you may be able to tack onto another group as we did on one occasion. Apart from seeing how the cheese is made and making some yourself, there is a tour of the organic site, an explanatory video, chance to meet and fly the birds of prey and see the donkeys, horses, black pigs and of course goats. The children loved milking the goats and petting the goats (in springtime obviously) and holding the birds. We also had tapas of there own cheeses and chorizos at the end and breakfast before we started. Highly recommended. Translations can be arranged.
Fuimos 3 veces a la granja Bucarito, que da una visita super interesante y diferente. Preparamos queso, vimos los aves rapaces y visitamos los otros animales. Hay desayuno y tapas tambien.

Within just a couple of hours at El Bucarito, about 20 kilometers from Sanlúcar de Barrameda towards El Puerto de Santa Maria, you can have a tradtional Andalucian breakfas and see a film showing the animals and explaining the different areas of this farm where they breed and rear goats and pigs and many other animals like eagles, hawks, owls etc. You also learn the process of cheese making and make your own one. And at the end of your visit you can taste the different products produced at El Bucarito. A very warmly recommendable visit!

A must stop for cheese lovers - especially if you like ghoat cheese! There is a little well stocked shop also with jamon and wines. It is worth to take a tour with degustation in which you learn about ther cheese, meat production and taste different cheese, parshutto and wine. The degustation is prepared in an old part of the property which look like a traditional finca. Personnel is very atentive and make sure you wont forget the experience.

Read Emma A's review, it is spot on. I tagged onto several groups and started with a grand breakfast, cheese making process demonstration and then we made our own. We toured the goat farm area, milking area etc, then moved on to view the iberian pig areas. Lots of new born piglets to see suckling. Then the birds of prey and finally back for lunch with bucarito's own cheese and chorizos as the meal. A wonderful day, wonderful people who treat you wonderfully well. Also very worth the entry fee.

Qué precio tiene por persona?
Gracias

Hola!

Saludos y gracias
