It was a short visit here, due to our very tired little-one. We ordered some of the various Tapas and were very happy with it! Local cheese and 'Salchichon' were very good. To us it felt more like a bar. Lots of people here, obviously mostly locals. No tourist-trapping there: rather a nice-price-policy. Beautyful setting outside: lots of plants in... More

Good food, great place for tapas. I was impressed with their selection. Rota seems more of a touristy spot bc of the base. Would reccomend for adventurous eaters. The goat cheese was superb.

Great outdoor seating area, small bar, excellent local beer: Cruzcampo, just good tapas. I expect tapas to be slow, but this was close to neglect. Two beautiful girls at the bar consumed the bartender's attention such that he was slow to serve food and drinks. Food was good, but not great. Their specialty is fresh local tuna tapas. I had... My husband and I stroll our town daily and this is one of favorite spots to stop and have cocktail, a few tapas and people watch. They make a very good mojito and you know the mint is fresh when you watch them walk out and cut the sprigs from a little herb garden that is growing around the fountain.... More

Tasca Talavan is situated on a corner of Calle Mina in Rota and is well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to have a nice relaxing drink and let the world go by. I've walked past this restaurant several times, and each time I make a mental note to make plans to visit. Tonight I finally did, and I'm so glad! I ordered a glass of rosado and the goat cheese with tomato sauce. It was the perfect tapa to start off my night! Affordable, great atmosphere, great location. I will be back!... More
