The food at Herdade do Espordao is OMG good. We had the seven course option and left on cloud nine. Perfect wine pairings with spectacular food and impeccable service! Do not miss this as you travel thru the area of Portugal, you don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve experienced it. This was the best experience we’ve had in Portugal!

We had lunch today at this wonderful restaurant. We were especially impressed by their Green Michelin Star and that the entire winery is bio/organic! We chose the 7 course tasting menu with the premium wine paring. Everything was excellent and we really enjoyed our wonderful service from an exceptional team. Manuel the sommelier was very knowledgeable and really enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommended. It is a wonderful experience in an incredible setting. Not to be missed if you are in this beautiful region of the Alentejo. Muito Obrigado!

The scale of the operation is incredibly impressive with a huge production. The tour was worthwhile and our guide gave us many interesting bits of information about the vineyard and its operation. The most intersting part was the tour inside the cellars where both barrels and bottles were stored, including a small area of the owner's private collection - would have loved to try some. The tour ended with a tasting session of 4 different wines.

Wonderful experience. Had lunch after a winery tour. We ordered the 5 Moments menu, which was a lot of food. Delicious cuisine, artfully presented, with warm and welcoming staff. An added bonus: the chef came out after the meal, greeted guests at each table, and asked us about our favorite dish. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
