Driving through Tuscany we found this incredibly beautiful winery tucked in the hills. The manager, Jocopo, sat with us pouring wine after wine, a delicious Chianti. This organic winery uses only Sangiovese grapes. We spent two hours learning about the winery and the olive groves that surround the vines and how they keep the deer and wild boar out of the vineyards.....a delightful discovery.

Great winery to tour and taste. We loved the fact that this winery chooses to make their Classic Chianti with 100 percent Sangiovese. Most vineyards do the required 80%. They let us taste their Classic Chianti and then opened a few more bottles to taste as well. The employees were very good and had no problems speaking English. The grounds here are fantastic!

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to spend part of the summer in Panzano for more than the past 25 years. During this time we have watched and enjoyed the evolution of Il Molino di Grace into a wonderful winery and a place we take our friends to and recommend to people looking for a genuine Chianti winery experience. The development of Il Molino has been a labour of love for Frank Grace, his family and the team on site. The red wines (no whites here that I know of) they produce are competitive with the best in the region. The olive oil (from the property) and balsamic vinegar (produced in Modena using input from Il Molino) are “top drawer”. Il Molino provides a great tasting experience for all of their products, where you are served by polite, knowledgeable, helpful people. In our experience, Il Molino products are all a good value for money proposition relative to most of the better producers. We do not go a season without taking home at least 3 litres of oil, several bottles of the balsamic vinegar along with as much wine as the Government of Canada allows us to bring. Il Molino di Grace is a stop in the valle d'oro /Chianti Classico that is not to be missed. Recommend highly, without reservation. drc

On our tour of Italy, we stopped for a wine tasting of Chianti at Il Milino di Grace. A young woman told us all about how the wine is made, and we had small samples of three different Chiantis that varied by their sophistication and price. Naturally, my wife and I liked the cheapest version best. The snacks were slivers of white cheese, an awful-looking marbled meat, and a sort of round pretzel, which I really liked. The cheese and the pretzels were outstanding. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it if you're in the area.
