Driving through Tuscany we found this incredibly beautiful winery tucked in the hills. The manager, Jocopo, sat with us pouring wine after wine, a delicious Chianti. This organic winery uses only Sangiovese grapes. We spent two hours learning about the winery and the olive groves that surround the vines and how they keep the deer and wild boar out of the vineyards.....a delightful discovery.

There are signs all around Panzano pointing to this winery, so we decided to follow them. However, by the time we visited Il Molino, we had already bought more wine than we can use or give away. The woman in the office in stead brought out olive oil, which was excellent, and balsamic vinegar. I have never tasted any vinegar to compare with this.

There are 3 levels of vinegar, based on how long it was aged. The mid level was so delicious you could, and wanted to drink it. Forget the bread or the olive oil, the vinegar was enough.

We arrived early in the morning without an appointment. Not a problem for Iacopo Morganti, the manager of the winery. After a short tour, we had a very enjoyable and informative wine tasting. We left with several cases and will order some more. We found their Chianti to be one of the best in the area.

Went to several places to taste and buy some wines. But we never had such a bad experience. If you want to get ripped off, this is the best place to go for. No honesty. They give you 2014 wines pretending the 2015 isn't available yet.
From now on, i will buy my wine from other producers. Just sellers but not loving what they are are producing.

We visited this facility and was greeted by their wine maker, Iacopo Morganti, who is from this region of Italy. If you have an opportunity to ask for him to present their wines, you will not be disappointed whatsoever by the wines that "grace" this land nor by this expert who will guide you to wines of paradise. WE were 6 people and all of us were delighted with our wine tasting experience and the tour of the property. Call ahead and arrange your personal experience that you will not soon forget. Put this winery on your agenda to stop and enjoy.

Lovely guide and the wine is delish! The grounds are beautiful and the art is both quirky and personal - this is not a factory tour, but rather a glimpse into a Tuscan winery.

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to spend part of the summer in Panzano for more than the past 25 years. During this time we have watched and enjoyed the evolution of Il Molino di Grace into a wonderful winery and a place we take our friends to and recommend to people looking for a genuine Chianti winery experience. The development of Il Molino has been a labour of love for Frank Grace, his family and the team on site.

The red wines (no whites here that I know of) they produce are competitive with the best in the region. The olive oil (from the property) and balsamic vinegar (produced in Modena using input from Il Molino) are “top drawer”. Il Molino provides a great tasting experience for all of their products, where you are served by polite, knowledgeable, helpful people. In our experience, Il Molino products are all a good value for money proposition relative to most of the better producers.

We do not go a season without taking home at least 3 litres of oil, several bottles of the balsamic vinegar along with as much wine as the Government of Canada allows us to bring. Il Molino di Grace is a stop in the valle d'oro /Chianti Classico that is not to be missed.

Recommend highly, without reservation.

we visited Il molino di Grace winery while staying in a local villa near panzano. We had our four children and their spouses with us and decided to visit this winery upon receiving a suggestion from our chief at the villa. It was a wonderful time. The staff was very gracious and gave us a wonderful tour and provided tastings of several good wines. But, the most memorable part of the tour was when the owner came to greet us and shared the history of the vineyard. He was such a gentleman . and we learned he was from the USA, born in Ohio, and lived in San Fran..He was gracious enough to join us for cocktails and we had the pleasure of getting to know him even better.. We had visited several other vineyards in the Panzano area but none of the visits compared to the warm hospitality we received at Grace

We have been to many wonderful vineyards in the area previously. We had the unfortunate experience of walking into this winery with unfriendly staff. Avoid at all costs, there are much better wineries with more friendly staff all around. We walked out of this place within 5 minutes because of the staff.

We are disappointed to hear you found our staff really unfriendly when the only thing they have done is to answer no to a question we couldn't answer in a different way. We are really sorry we couldn't accomodate your request of doing a PIC-NIC in our tasting terrace but, as we already explained you, we are not a pic-nic area, we are a winery producing wine and olive oil and we have three small tables outside where we made wine tasting when it's good weather. For hygiene and health reasons as we respect the CE Reg. 852/2004 and the HACCP rules we can't allowed to eat homemade food in our winery so you're right, you should avoid this place if you want to have a pic-nic here with your own food, but if you want to come for a wine tasting (which is free) you are more than welcome as everyone else! (And if you wish we can also give you some good advise on restaurants or places to have pic-nic).

We went on a wine tour and tasting. The guide was very informative and we tasted three different wines and also had nibbles. The wine was lovely and we also tasted the most amazing balsamic vinegar!
