Stefano is a true master and story telling, dropping pearls of wisdom, and entertaining you while tasting some great wines. No one treats wine with such care and deference while making one appreciate his craft and dedication. This visit was a complete treat and should not be missed by anyone. We did not want this visit to end, but had... More

We spent a few hours with Stefano on a Sunday afternoon tasting very nice local wines and learning about the Chianti region. Stefano is very generous of his time and knowledge and makes you feel comfortable right away. There's absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. We really appreciated the dozen products we tried from small local producers and the stories... More

My husband and I visited Stefano's store whilst we were on our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. What an experience! We spent nearly 3 hours being entertained whilst trying 15 different reds. I would highly recommend visiting Stefano anyone staying in the area.

Stefano takes visitors through a gustatorial adventure with samplings of 13 regional wines, olive oil, and grappa. The tastes include wonderful anecdotes, informative discussion, and absolutely no pressure to purchase. Magnifico!

As we just purchased a farm there we investigated our little town and stumbled on this little shop... It is facing the baker's/ coffee/mini food store where I recommend the croissants!! Coming from a French, trust me... These croissants will melt in your mouth! Back to the wine testing shop... Interesting story that the owner completely changed his carrier a... More

I first discovered this little wine shop in 2008 and have included it in my itinerary on every trip to Tuscany since then. The owner, Stefano, is a master at mixing storytelling, wine tasting, music and theatrics for an experience you won't forget. Other enoteca can show you the wines, but here it's more of an interactive event. If you... More

What can we say about Steffano and his wonderful shop that hasn't been said before?...probably nothing! Everything you read from the 5 star reviews is all true! He is charming, funny, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The range of fine wines are really impressive, and best of all - he will ship all over the world! Score!! If your in the... More

We had been walking and looked in here and six people there tasting wine. The host invite us in and we joined12 wines plus some extra to taste. Good range good tasting well presented in relaxed atmosphere. Brought two bottles for 50 euro maybe a bit dear but it was free tasting so balanced out. I recommend this place.

We found this little gem through trip advisor. Stefano's wine shop is in the quaint town of Panzano. He had interesting stories and sometimes a painting for each bottle of Tuscan wine we tasted. We ended our afternoon with locally made limoncello and amaro. The wines are reasonably priced with no pressure to buy. Stefano just wants you to enjoy... More

Went to the Academia largely because of the positive and intriguing Trip Advisor reviews. Wine/chocolate tasting- an entertaining couple of hours- there must be a catch? No catch. Stefano has a true heart for people and wine. He welcomes you into his modest store and immediately starts engaging you with his genuine smile and welcoming spirit. We had 2 hours... More
