My friend and I visited this store and we would like to buy a lot of tradition food.when I was trying to pick up 3 boxes of biscuits, one of them fell from shelf and few biscuits got smashed. The owner got angry and started to talk Italian which I could not understand and finally I figured out that she meant I had to buy that box.I bought only that box and I do not care about 3.9 Euro but her behavior was very offensive and bad in front of other tourists.we left the shop without buying any other thing.

Hi, this is Mina, the owner of the shop. In my colleague's defense, Maria, the girl that was serving you, she tried to explain to you in English but you didn't understand. That's why she tried in Italian, as she doesn't know any other language. As per good manners, in our country, whoever breaks something is also expected to pay. I am very sorry for what happened but I do not justify your negative review.

When you visit Polignano you have to visit this small authentic shop. It has a wide range of local items that you can purchase. When I visited I purchased limoncello produced in Polignano and Olive oil made in Puglia. It was the best olive oil I've ever tasted so you have to buy it. The owner was extremely welcoming and allowed us to try products before we actually brought them. She was very friendly and helpful. This shop is truly wonderful and when we come back to Polignano we will visit again. Grazie

Definitely stop here when you're in polignano, plenty of fun local products but tons of unique mixes, spices, and gifts. We found an Italian hot sauce made from a pepper we discovered in India. I also almost passed out after having a bite. A must-stop on your journey.

I walked into the shop with a friend of mine to buy some fresh homemade pasta and some Italian homemade sweets and jams, I am Syrian visiting from Canada with my friend who lives in London but originally from Bitonto-Italy (Which I strongly recommend visiting). The shop keeper was very friendly and he managed to give attention to all the people in his shop, after people left, he started a conversation with my friend, it turned out that he lives in Monopoly, this city is about few kilometers from his shop, since we already had our tour at Poligniano, the guy suggested that we visit Monopoly as well and he offered us a lift for free after he closes his shop at 4pm. My friend and I actually went for a walk and then met the guy again at 4pm and before we left the shop, the guy showed us maps of Monopoly and suggested to us the places to visit and see. That was an outstanding and amazing offer and the visit was worth it, my friend and I really enjoyed Monopoly and Now I am currently in London enjoying the tasty sweets I bought at his shop.

The owner is very friendly. She was attentive and informative. We were able to taste several different items before deciding what to buy. A must stop for some great finds.
