This is an amazing place, with the beach, the old town at the right, the cliff at the left, and the bridge behind. Of course there are lots of people in summer, so it is advised to arrive early. The sea is clean and crystal-like, ideal for snorkeling. There are lots of fishes and they are not afraid of snorkelers ! We were even lucky enough to catch a small octopus.

This beach is long but narrow & it was pretty crowded when we visited Polignano even though it was late September & midweek. The water is stunning clear, sparkling turquoise in the sunlight. Lots of “scary” cliff diving taking place by the locals....hopefully they know the safe places to enter the water! It didn’t look like there were any parasols or sun chairs to hire, it’s too small, everyone seemed to bring their own gear.

Beautiful beach and unassuming views. Nice place to rest especially away from the crowds in Polignano....
