We slept only for one night, but it was unforgettable!.. The Mister who arranged our very romantic room was very friendly and helped us to find a great restaurant for dinner!

We popped in here a few times during our week in Polignano a Mare. It offers good drinks and good service at an affordable price with lots of seating where you can people watch on the square. The only complaint I have is something partially out of their control: On one occasion, we were approached (accosted, even) by a rude beggar. Apparently, he and numerous "vendors" frequent this area to bilk unwary tourists from their cash. We did see a police officer tell one vendor to go his way, but it would have been nice for him to have been there when this obnoxious beggar (a man in the prime of his life and health and whose clothes and body showed no evidence of the distress one would expect of someone whose hard and unlucky life forced him into penury) came to us not once, but twice for spare change and would not leave. So, I recommend this place for its service, products, and prices, but please be ready to turn down passersby who wish to sell you think or simply hold out a hand for change.
