It is a big square with a car park underneight, the square has some ugly buildings to take the stairs down.
The statue on the square is nice but due to the hight, it takes away the view on the square.

On my first visit to Monza with no idea what should meet me I after leaving the train I come into this nice square. Not special much people here this sunday I was alone. Should go to info center for picking up map so I had a little control but it was closed strange in my head but maybe Monza is not the place to go if You not are fan of motor sport. I like this memory sculpture who was in honour for people from Monza killed under the first world war and later for all war. I didnt use long time there only took many photo for the memory book of the visit.

Just a big square, not very nice.
A monument entitled to the dead soldiers of all the wars occupies its center. Not the best spot in Monza.

Piazza Trento e Trieste at Monza is noted for its monumental memorial, originally dedicated to the men of Monza who fell during the First World War, and later re-dedicated to the fallen of all wars. It is truly monumental and highly expressive when you recall that the Italians were attacking uphill against well entrenched Austrian soldiers. The carnage was enormous.

This is a lovely Piazza in the center of Monza. What makes it stand out for me is the incredible statue in the middle of the space. It is huge, dramatic and a piece of art that I will never forget!

Wide and spacious, the monument in the center is quite imponent. The square receives numerous events, specially on weekend days.
