The Fumagalli Rose Garden is located in the forecourt of the Villa Reale. It was created in 1964 by Niso Fumagalli, industrialist and president of the Italian Rose Association, but it was only officially inaugurated in 1970. It hosts more than 4000 different varieties of roses, of different species, colors and scents, ancient, climbing, bush, etc. In the center of the rose garden there is a pond with some varieties of water lilies. Entrance is free. I recommend visiting it in this season (May) to admire it at its best and in the morning because it is in full sun and there are no shaded areas. Inside the rose garden there are some benches where you can sit and admire the extension of the roses with a view of the royal villa.

Located on the side of the Villa, right in front of the Serrone building, this rose garden is very well maintained and houses a considerable amount of roses but also other flowers. Having visited it in summer I could not appreciate the beauty and colors that it will surely offer in the flowering period but it is still tangible that it is a very well maintained garden. Place pleasantly combined with the visit of the Royal Villa. Free admission.

This is a well laid out rose garden near the Villa Reale. It is a very romantic setting with lots of beautiful scents and colours. Our only disappointment is that we missed the garden when it was in full bloom (mid May) but there were sufficient blooms on display for us to have a wonderful visit.

Loved the fountains and the Water Features.

The rose garden is not only nice to see because of all the roses but the scent of all the different flowers is just stunning. You also have a nice view on the Villa Reale & can visit Monza's huge park.

The rose garden is one of the top in the world. Everytime I love to walk among the thousands of roses. Also home to rose trials for newer roses. Well worth going.
