This cute little chapel is located in the “downtown” section of Landstuhl, within walking distance of the train station. Very easy to fine.
The churchyard has a small cemetery that was interesting to look at. The stone walkway was extremely slippery while I was there, since it was misty outside. If it’s rainy, I would recommend using extreme caution when viewing the gravestones.
The chapel door was unlocked, so I peeked it. There’s an entry way, and then the rest of the chapel has a barred gate over it, presumably to prevent vandalism. I was still able to clearly see the inside, and get some photos between the bars.
I’m not sure if there’s parking nearby, as I walked from my Airbnb.

This is a lovely place that provides the soul some relaxation and refreshment away from the rest of the world. This little annex was built in the 1300s. There used to be more to the building but it was destroyed centuries ago. You can go inside anytime of day just by opening the little latched door. There is a gate right inside of the entrance that prevents you from walking up to the alter but there is plenty of room for a few people to capture the beauty of the frescoes painted all throughout the insides. The cemetery at the rear holds the remains of souls lost in the 1800-1900s. This is such a little place with so much to say. Stop by and spend a few minutes walking abck through centuries of time. I highly recommend the effort.

The chapel itself is very cool to see as it has old frescoes on the wall and ceiling. But the haunting and interesting part of this site is the graveyard of German soldiers killed in WWII from the Landstuhl area.

A nice little chapel that you can enter the foyer of. Modest interior, but nice to take a look at. Outside are the graves of 80+ fallen from WWII. Their names are listed in a book inside.

We've driven by the kapelle many times and have never stopped to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised when we did. It was modestly decorated but beautiful and the gardens are small but well maintained.

A friend told me about the chapel as her parents were married there.
The chapel is in the middle of Landstuhl and simply walk in.
Built in 13th Century. Loved the art work and just the feel.
Don't forget to look at the small grave yard.
I spent a great couple of hours there and really really liked it.

This is a lovely chapel and churchyard. I found it quite interesting to browse the book inside the foyer of the church and then look at the headstones in the churchyard. 'worth a few minutes.

A very pretty chapel in the heart of Landstuhl. A small graveyard behind it is worth looking at if only for the sense of timelessness that's not available to most Americans.

My wife has walked by this a dozen times. I saw a review on Trip Adviser and realized we had walked right by it the day before. Definitely worth seeking out. Not hidden just does not stand out from the street. Amazing art inside and to realize how many centuries this has stood here and how many generations of people have said a prayer in here is hard to imagine. The Fresco painting on the walls gave me chills to see in person.

It's a neat chapel with interesting murals from medieval and renaissance times. Worth a quick peek if you're in the area. It's free. There are German WW II graves in front and there is a Barbarossa bakery across the street.
